Have you been thinking about getting a real estate license? Are you going to real estate school now? Have you recently passed your real estate exam where you live? One of the drawbacks of most real estate courses and schools is they don't teach you how to succeed as a Real Estate Agent once you get your license. This is the book for you because it will help you hit the ground running once you get your license. Mario Jannatpour is a active Realtor with RE/MAX Alliance in Louisville, Colorado and what he writes about is based on his experience of what it takes to be successful today as a Realtor. Mario has been a Realtor since 2002. Mario has also published "The Honest Real Estate Agent" video training series available on Amazon.
If you are considering becoming a real estate agent or are a new agent, you will appreciate this book. This book helped me think about the reality of being an agent. It's not always an easy job but can be extremely rewarding.
The first 7 chapters are anecdotal stories. Chapter “One” starts in chapter 7 or 8. Some good points are made, then the anecdotes start again. A couple of the appendices hold really useful information and “tips” or recommendations. Narrator is easy to listen to and engaging.
If you are starting a career or contemplating a career as a real estate agent this is a book for you!
I was searching for books on how to become a realtor, read many titles and passed on the books, until I read this one “The Honest Real estate Agent TRAINING GUIDE…”.
I started reading it and couldn’t put the book down, couldn’t wait to finish work to read more. It took only 5 days to read, that’s how interesting and educational it was for me.
Mario takes you through the process of becoming an agent step by step. He keeps it simple and honest. I guarantee you, by the time you finish reading this book, you will have the confidence and knowledge on how to start to build a successful career as a real estate agent. I will be taking all of what I learned from this book and will be starting my new career at the young age of 58. Thank you Mario for taking the time to write this amazing book!
It seemed to have a lot of commonsense good advice, which is valuable, but I would have liked to hear some more specifics on what it was like starting out maybe a few stories of real estate agents starting out and details, but that wasn't the purpose of the book, so it's not a true fault. It was good to read for confidence-building and to get an idea of the industry and career.
It wasn't a horrible book, it was just targeted to the new agent or an agent in their first year. It had very little value to an agent that has been practicing for a number of years. So unless you are starting, I think it's better to pass on this one.
I liked that the book wasn't trying to sell you something but gave go I Dave ok celebration for new agents what to expect and seasoned agents points we forget !
It a must read read for someone starting out or thinking about getting their real estate license. It was very informative. It was hard to put the book down, kept my interest.
I found this to be a fantastic read not only for new agents, but for agents that may have lost their way throughout the years. Be confident, forthright and honest with your clients.
Meh, good for someone who knows nothing about the industry. Kind of rambly and repetitive but some good points about time management and saving money as a new agent.
This book helps a newbie such as myself establish a base of rules to conform with...some things aren't taught in school and it's great to get the advice that Mario offers
This book has some good, solid tips for the first year.... Nothing I hadn't heard before from my BIC or post-licensing classes, but a good reminder of how to present oneself as an agent.
I great book for the first year REALTOR. Mario includes insight on the modern real estate agent and what it takes to be successful. A recommended read for all new agents.
