5 stars- You know when sometimes you see a cover on a book and think, why did the author pick that? There was an aha' moment on the story where you get to understand the why for the cover of this book. Loved it!
The story grabbed me from the beginning and once you are at 30% you won't be able to put it down because you just need to know what happens next. Since the start I was scared, I was thinking OMG, something bad is going to happen.

***SPOILERS***
The story is about Jude, she is one of those girls that is always scared, she thinks bad things will happen to her. She can't watch the news, she won't stay at her and her husbands apartment by herself, she checks and double checks everything in her house to make sure that everything is locked and that there are no intruders inside the apartment. She has a sister, Penny, that comes and stays with her the days her husband Bryan is away at work, he is a fireman and he stays at work for 2 days in a row. One night Jude decides that she wants to be brave and spend the night by herself and she doesn't call Penny. At this point her husband is thinking he is tired of being so nice to her and he is also thinking of asking for a divorce. The second night it's when bad things happen. There was an actual intruder inside her apartment. Many things happen, her sister comes to visit, bad timing, the husband comes home. The intruder actually had studied them so he knew about all their routines and who they were. I'm not gonna say everything that happened while the intruder was there, but I will say not everyone makes it out alive.
Loved the ending! Love how the characters showed emotion. Loved how Jude changed in the story, I won't tell you how she changed.

I have read this author's work before and I loved his writing style so of course I knew I was going to love this story as well. He paints a story in your head, his descriptions are really awesome. There are some parts with blood and vivid descriptions of what the intruder does to the characters so be warned if you are squeamish.
I will finish by saying, if you want a good story that will keep you guessing what will happen, one that might scare you a bit and will also make you a bit sad then this is the one for you. Get this book, you won't regret it.

Don't plan on taking your shoes off when you kick back to enjoy this book you might need them to jump up when any little noise startles you while reading. If you are easily frightened and or enjoy to be frightened then this is the book for that. But then maybe you should not read it in the night time either only during the day because the realism of some of the action played out in this could control your imagination just alittle ha ha. You might not even look at the dark and forgotten places the same in your abode either. The character in this-Jude is quite a piece of work. She could be like anyone on the street dealing with lots of issues fear controlling where her mind goes. Found it funny though she handled her job just fine but inside her home now that is where it was tricky. Fortunate for her she has such a loving support system in her husband and sister, right? Loving, understanding husband and caring sister what more does she need to overcome her fears? Boy can appearances be deceiving.I would say she needs to put on her big girl panties and in time she will have to forcibly do that or die. Surprise Surprise maybe it is not so wasted effort after all in her madness to be safe. Very superb detailed steps and the triggers that lead to caution kicking in terror filled events that eventually leads to the evening of being trapped with a madman> Maybe they should of listened to her this time. Her and her sister and husband are now entered into his games and he wants to play and as you are reading you wonder what could possibly happen next? Is there any hope for them? Will there be any survivors? Oh my the answers to those and any other questions would have to done by reading to receive your own thrill of the day.But I will ask the same question the author does and that is if faced with this same situation as Jude could you pull the trigger? My question is what would you do facing a madman and death seem to be the only outcome?

I received a free ecopy of this book from the author for an honest review. I thought I’d read all of his published books but when I realized I hadn’t read this one, Wade was gracious enough to send me a copy.

Terrorizing Jude is about Jude, who is afraid to be by herself. Her husband of one year is getting tired of dealing with her fear and is close to asking her for a divorce. Their lack of communication is so bad that she has no clue that he wants to leave.

Part of the story is told through the eyes of a serial killer. I found his meticulous preparation interesting and his patience intriguing.

Terrorizing Jude is a fast, easy read and kept my interest throughout. It contained a few surprises as well as some cringe worthy moments. I particularly liked the ending.

I found this book definitely intriguing.. It flowed well and I finished in no time. Wade gave me a different point of view that I don't think I have ever had while reading about a Serial Killer. When I check out these kind of book's I find myself wondering.. "I wonder what was going on inside their head?" Well in Terrorizing Jude I got that aspect. And rather enjoyed it. I can say the one thing that did disappoint me was that I wished that it had been longer . That being said sometimes you need that shorter read. I am definitely looking forward to reading his other book Snipe Hunt as well, and hoping to see more.

Wow. This book was great. Its not something I would normally read. The author gave me a copy to read and I read it in just over an hour. I couldn't put it down. The book pulled me in it was like watching a movie. The characters were so real. I am styding forensic science and criminal justice and the author gave me a look into a criminals mind that blew me away. I recommended this book for anyone who loves to read and anyone who loves horror and suspence movies. My thanks to the author who just jumped to my top 5 list

Ok, I must start out by saying this is not my typical genre but WOW. There are not many words i can use to describe how i felt about this book except wow! I felt that i could relate with Jude because I always fear being home alone (to an extent). This is a book you won't be able to put down, I know i sure wasn't able to! I also love how the book wasn't slow moving and it didn't drag on and on! Can't wait to read more from this Author!

All I can say is this book was awesome. I read it in a span of a few hours--couldn't find myself to put it down. I loved, loved it! I loved the fact that the book was interesting since the beginning. I have not read such a good book like this one in a long time. I even got the chills when I was reading it.

OMG. I don't usually read this genre, but I was given a copy and I loved this book. This was one that you picked up and couldn't put down. The different dinamics between the characters is awesome. I love what happens and the stages it happened in.

Really not my thing. I went in thinking it was paranormal horror and it wasn't. Plus ... the cover ... just look at it. LOOK. AT. IT. Certainly a thriller, and not for the faint hearted, but I read it, alone in my house at 2am, and had no trouble sleeping. So, yeah. Maybe I am a sicko.

I got this book from the author, and decided to give it a shot. I think while I was reading this, the movie Saw went through my mind the entire time. I can definitely see where the inspiration came from. I liked it. I found myself rooting for each character, especially Jude.

This book will have you hiding under the covers and checking the locks in your house. It's so unsettling but it's so good.

Good, but low on the suspense Quite well done, but the suspense was a little lacking, and it was quite obvious that the main character was going to survive the ordeal.
