Tikai pāršķirstīju, jo kaut ko līdzību esmu lasījusi jau latviski.
Pats tievēšanas princips nav domāts man, neuzrunā un nepārliecina. Tomēr šeit var gūt idejas no recptēm, grāmatas nobeigumā ir tabulas kaloriju skaitītājiem un diezgan pieņemama vingrošanas programma.

Quick Recipies

Recipes are pretty simple, but where are the pictures? The book is pretty bland without some photos! I just like to know for sure that my version of anything will promptly be a Pinterest FAIL.

A strange book built on the premise that you eat 500 calories for two days of the week and eat "normally" the other five days. I don't see how you could lose weight on this one. It would be a yoyo effect at best--never effective, and at worst, whatever you did the other five days would offset the two days of starving. She has many tips on how to overcome the starving feelings of dizziness, weakness, etc. I'm surprised this book even got published, for the fact it has a model in a bikini on the cover with her ass predominating the page.

This diet is sadly not for me! If I'm going to starve myself, yo-yoing from 600 calories to my normal intake back to 600 calories twice a week is just too confusing for me. If I'm going to feel hungry, I'd rather feel a little less hungry every day than to eat normally 5 days a week and feel ravenous for the other 2. Each to their own as it's worked really well for friends of mine. I find the temptation too much on fasting days and I actually ended up putting weight on!! Hey-ho!

I saw the silly title and cover and glanced through it to make fun of it, then saw some snack recipes I like, so I borrowed it. Then it turned out the "snacks" are meals for fasting days. So the "diet" two days of the week are actually for eating 500 calories max, and the "normal" days are actually what would be dieting for normal people. Probably not the meal plan for me.

I haven't tried the diet yet but the books was and interesting quick read. I would recommend it.
