Future Wars 1: A New Arrival
There is one girl that needs to find out about Metallica, the world of spaceships, kingdoms, castles and more. This girl is…Olivia Rockfields.
Being the type of girl that Olivia is, she loves to explore the depths of the world and find out what is beyond her knowledge of existence. That is when she stumbles into the world of Metallica. She meets Shredder (one of the worst enemies Metallica has ever faced), along with an unusual time-traveler named Flix, who came to Metallica by falling into a Time Hole in his couch at home.
But Metallica is at war. Olivia just got there; will she survive with only limited knowledge of this new world, or will she be destroyed?

I like to read and review Young Adult books. I like fantasy and science fiction with the occasional realistic fiction if it sounds good. If it doesn't interest me, I won't read it. Sometimes when people hype up realistic fiction books or fantasy books or science fiction books, I won't read it or I will read it and I thought it was bad or disappointing.
Another thing about me is that I won't like every book that you like. I have books that I'm obsessed with, and then I have books that I don't like. You shouldn't judge me if I don't like them. That's my opinion, not yours, which could be that you love the book so much.
Note: AUTHORS, do NOT send me requests for review swaps or read-to-review books if it isn't in the genre of fantasy or young adult or sci-fi. I will probably just ignore it.

I have it on good authority this book was written when the author was just 14. So firstly I want to congratulate the writer on possessing the focus and - hell - the ability to write a book at that age. Prodigy comments aside, this is still a book and as such must be reviewed as I would any other.
I gave this book three stars. For me, this means I enjoyed the story and the characters, but feel there is a well of untapped potential there.
This is a book for 9 years plus and the author was an expert at fulfilling the quirkiness I always expect of novels in this genre. The humour throughout the book was great and I saw glimpses of the great writing we can expect from this young man in the near future (or already for all I know). And, WOW, what an imagination. Truly impressed.
Now, a bit more character and setting development wouldn't go astray here. And I think a bit of work to perfect the flow would turn this book into a four star for me.
P.S Metallica is possibly the coolest sci-fi name I've ever heard.

FANTASTIC!!!
This book....it is just SO AMAZING!!!!

This book was amazing, and it is DEFINITELY a must-read. I recommend this book to all sci-fi fantasy lovers! LOVE IT!
