Loved It

If you are an MC lover and like your books dark and dirty this book is for you. Eric/Easy is the enforcer for the Steel Disciples MC and Feloni/Trista is the Prez’s estranged daughter. After the Prez’s trophy wife was killed is started intense action in the form of the mafia coming after all of the club and various family members including Trista. Easy is sent to protect Trista but she has an aversion to bikers.

This book was suspenseful, tense, steamy, action packed and was a huge page turner for me. The only problem is this book ended in a cliffhanger and has me waiting on pins and needles to see what comes next. This is first time author for me and one I will definitely be following.

I wish I could rate this novella higher than 3 stars as it is essentially well written and fast paced. The trouble for me is the wholly unrealistic plot twists that really detracted from what was a solid plot certainly to begin with.

We begin the story with a funeral which pretty quickly moves onto a devastating massacre but no spoilers.

Mark is the President of the Steel Disciples MC and an estranged father to his daughter, prickly and feisty Trista who has distanced herself from her father's 'profession' and is studying at medical school and living with her mother and her step father in rich man's land.

When the whole of the MC is under threat by the Italian mafia, Mark orders his Enforcer - Eric - to take Trista immediately (against her will) and protect her from a certain death.

So far so plot rich. My problem began with Trista's emotional reactions to tragic events (or lack of) and the events that happen when introduced to Oak a serving solider.

This is a pity as this story begins in the hands of a writer who knows what she's doing but rapidly (for me) started my eye rolling.

I'm used to grenades being thrown regarding plot lines but I really lost touch and faith with Trista as a character - from Miss Prissy to....well.... enough said.

Start of The Steel Disciples Dark MC series waiting on the second one that follows although I must say I hate cliffhanger’s ☹ I see no need for them just leave me hanging wondering where they are headed next….. Trista a sweetheart not a wallflower by no means but raised by her mother away from her father’s lifestyle in fact she knows so little about her father but when he marries again everything comes to a head so to speak because the mafia comes after him, his new wife, his family, so thinking ahead he sends one of his guys to get his daughter take her away for protection but he kidnaps her keeping her himself unbeknownst to her father. Eric sexy as all get out protector sent by a father to take his daughter keeping her safe but the moment, he sees her he knows she should be his, so he keeps her for himself, he is ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, and his goal now is to make his girl his and his only. The attraction is there from the moment they meet, the magnetic pull is strong between the two of them neither of them can ignore it no matter how hard they try despite the fact she tells herself she is supposed to hate him because he kidnapped her but will her dad make it out okay, will her mom be okay, where does he take her to keep her safe, will he keep her safe, and where are they headed are just a few of the questions since we have to wait darn cliffhangers 😊!

Wow, I was absolutely astounded reading this book, this story had me mesmerised and the characters were really captivating. This story was about Trista and Eric, Trista is her middle name she doesn't like her first name Feloni and she corrects everybody even her father and brother. Mark is Trista's father the Prez of the club, Mark lost his wife and he went to the cemetery the club house was attacked then they gunned down a lot of people at the cemetery, when Mark opened his eyes and told Eric to save his daughter. Eric is ex-milatary like most of the bikers in the club. Eric went to the school and dragged her all the way to his bike, he needs to hide her from the Mafia they are out for revenge, can he succeed in keeping her away from them.

What I liked- wow, the zexytime scenes were hot (the one at his house about melted my Kindle). This book was also a page turner. There was not a single boring moment.
What I didn’t- I was not expecting a cliffhanger and I don’t like it. Be warned.
Verdict- I’ve got to read the next book.

Trista (FMC) wants to build a life away from The Steel Disciples MC where her father is the Pres of by training to be a nurse. Only for her to be drawn back into it when her father's new wife (a Mafia Princess) is murdered and her brothers are looking for vengeance against the MC.

Eric (The MC's Enforcer) ends up a glorified babysitter to Trista to protect her. These two definitely rub each other up the wrong way but there's a simmering attraction between both of them. I genuinely liked these two characters and with that cliff-hanger ending I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen in Trista's brothers book now. A great read.

Tristas mother kept a dark secret from her, her entire life. She finds out that her father is Prez of Steel Disciples. When his new wife dies the mafia make it their mission to make him and all the Disciples and their family pay. After her mother is killed and her brother attacked and at the funeral her father is attacked he send his enforcer Easy to protect his daughter. So he kidnaps her and he has a fight on his hands if this alpha thinks shes going to lay down and roll over. Shes MC royalty after all.

This is a well written MC story with a cast of strong characters centering on Trista and Eric. The author does a great job developing the story and pulled me in with all the action throughout. She brings violence and danger, anxiety and fear. hatred and grief along with the romance. Emotions are flying high as the story unfolds. The scenes are painted vividly and the story flows fluidly. I loved reading and am looking forward to the next book with the cliffhanger ending.

This is book one in this series The Steel Disciples MC. This is a well written MC romance story. The story will hold your attention to see what will happen next. The characters are likeable and fit well together. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to reading the next installment.

Liked the characters though Trista got a tad irritating as it went on. The plot had lots of promise and then just went a bit out there and it ended on a cliffhanger which is a pet hate. But it's dark and gritty so if that's how you like your MC stories, you'll enjoy it.
