Suzuki Julietta is a Japanese manga artist born in the Fukuoka Prefecture. Her pen name comes from a character named Julietta Sakamoto from the seinen manga series, Air Master. She likes cats, koalas, and sharks. According to an interview with Hakusensha, she first started drawing when she was in her second year of elementary school in a sketchbook of Japonica. During her free time, she meets her friends, goes for a drink, or out for a meal. She states that although she doesn't read much, she enjoys works by Junji Itō. Her favourite character is Ashia and mentions that male characters are easier to draw in general.
just like the anime, I hated the arc including Nanami realising she fell in love with Tomoe and all her attempts at forcing something to happen aswell as being stupid enough to deal with Isohmi.

Even though this series is both hilarious and fun to read I think I am going to donate my current volumes to my local library and stick to the anime for now. Even though I enjoy this manga for what it is, I feel like it leans toward a younger audience and lacks the depth needed to engage older readers. It’s entertaining but the outrageous plot and surface-level drama just feels childish to me at times. I don’t want to invest my money into this very long series just to be disappointed because I want it to be something it’s not. However, I do plan on continuing with the anime and might potentially pick up the manga online if I need something light and entertaining to get me through the dreaded winter months.
Tomoe with his hair down is always worth the price of admission. (And I promise it didn't take me five days to read this, I've just been slacking with Goodreads.)
What I love the most about this volume is that Nanami finally has friends in school! Ami can be dense at times, but it's good to see her caring a lot for Nanami. Kei is cool, I like her.
And the fact that Nanami finally acknowledged that she does like Tomoe! Finally 🥺💖 Tomoe rejecting her was pretty much a given, but I still like that Nanami was honest about it. I NEED TO KNOW TOMOE'S ACTUAL FEELINGS FOR NANAMI. LIKE, RIGHT NOW.
This manga is my absolute favorite one, and I LOVE the anime as well. Volume 4 is funny, adventurous and touching. Tomoe is definitely my favorite but I also really like Mizuki. Definitely recommend this manga.
Il viaggio nel passato è stato interessante. Per me che ho già visto l'anime so bene che questo volume è molto importante e ci sono dettagli ed informazioni che vanno colte.
If you like humorous anime and manga and haven't watched/read this series, you really should. It just makes me happy. I love how Nanami is a teenager doing the best she can, but she has this insight because of the hard things she's gone through. She's such a likable character. And Tomoe....oh, Tomoe. I just adore him.
Since I've already watched the anime (several times) I'm coming at the manga already knowing the story, at least these beginning books that were covered in the anime. It's actually quite fun because I get all excited when my favorite parts show up.
AHH! The fangirl in me is squealing!!! Like, I've seen the entire anime (sorry for you manga purists out there) and I already knew this would be one of my favorite volumes. We get just a glimpse into why Tomoe is so adamant about falling for a mortal (Tomoe goes into the ocean to save Nanami's friend from drowning and is called to finish his bargain from forever ago . Nanami goes into the past to rescue Tomoe and finds out that he may have had a mortal love interest die from an illness despite his best efforts... so, perhaps we'll get the big vulnerability speech "can't lose someone else" bit. Fingers crossed). Also, loved the scene where she confesses her growing attraction to him and he dangles her over the side of the building in an effort to clear her head. And his "I'll never let you fall" promise is briefly broken when she continues to confess that all the fresh air in the world doesn't change her heart. And of course he jumps to her rescue her in the end). I just love the sweetness of this manga, but that it doesn't cancel out the eventual individual/couple growth that happens down the way. Here's to finding affordable copies!

We love a beach episode!! But also the confession scene kills me every time. Mizuki is a familiar now too and I’m just loving the pacing of the manga. So satisfying how each volume is wrapped up nice!
