There were some good tips on how to either avoid or confront difficult people. This is just the first book I've read about this. I'm going to find more to try and make my situations with difficult people better.

I picked this book up looking for some assistance with a person I just can’t seem to get along with. While there were no magic, easy solutions, I did identify some characteristics and dynamics that will give me food for thought. The book over-simplifies the concept of “difficult people” – aren’t we all difficult sometimes? – and there are some parts that I think are questionable in accuracy and reasoning. But the descriptions of the types do add detail to one’s thinking, and I don’t think the book was a waste of time. Just not a problem solver.

I borrowed this book from the library on a whim and based purely on the title, a subject matter that interests me. Truthfully, I only skimmed this book but that was because it's poorly written. It lacks science; it's as if the author wrote purely based on his personal experience. It's borderline dangerous: it's inaccurate and offers bad advice for dealing with some dangerous personalities (like bullies). Take care if you read this seriously and do more research before you endanger yourself!

ok. give some insight and definition on people's characters that we may not notice but have been a nuisance.
