YOU DON'T UNDERSTANDDDDD. I AM SO OBSESSED.😩
✧ “He might think that he is dangerous and unhinged, but he’s got nothing on me.” ✧
If you're sick of dark romances with weak, innocent and demure fmcs, look no further. Raina Smith is the baddest bitch on the planet. Completely unhinged, reckless, confident and a tad bit insane. She heard brat summer and took it literally.
This book is the definition of bi panic for me, because I am so completely in love with both of them. They match each other's vibe so damn well.
✧ “Raina is the worst assassin-in-training at this entire fucking university. So why the hell is she still the most dangerous person I’ve ever met?” ✧
The vibes of this are immaculate. Imagine sort of a 'Mr & Mrs Smith' vibe, combined with a 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' vibe in a dark romance university setting. It makes for a lethal and surprisingly funny story. How they're both challenging each other, trying to assert dominance, trying to get the other person to break. Raina's lines had me straight up cackling sometimes.
✦ “She saw all the violent and vicious and downright fucking monstrous parts of me, and she just grinned like a goddess of death and met me on the same level.” ✦
The writing isn't my favourite. It's a bit too on the nose at times, simplistic language and over explaining things that don't really need it, when it would be better for the actions to do the talking. The subplot with the underlying mystique didn't feel fully fleshed out either.
So is it the perfect book? No, but the general vibe, as well as Raina and Eli were able to erase all those issues with their chemistry, so on the whole I didn't mind it much.

All in all, I had the best fucking time and I won't sleep until all my dark romance besties on here reads this.🙂↕️

This book was absolutely ridiculous ffs. It was proper cliché (tho Raina pointed them 💅🏻), and some scenes had me cringing. Honestly, I was questioning myself, how did i ever enjoy these bullying scenes? 💀 But ykw? This book was FUNNY 😭

The back & forth of lethal tricks, threats, and poisonings between them were funny 😭 Raina’s actions were completely out of the blue. When she first wrote “SMALL DICK ENERGY” and gave the IDGAF attitude to the brothers, I was impressed 💅🏻 If you’ve read Rina Kent’s books, then you wouldn’t even bat an eyelash fr! There are two humiliating scenes (status updates), and I was literally like… whatever? 🤷🏻♀️ besides insta-obsessed if i say so.
Their fights were the real entertainment. She’s literally insane, never feels a drop of fear and stays totally chill. gun pointed at her? Cool. 'dig your own grave', Nah, I’m not into manual labor. 🤨

Eli is pretty cliché, but a little bit cute. It was funny how he was surprised that someone actually challenged him rather than cowering. I kinda felt pity for him most of the time because if this were a Rina Kent mmc, they would've gotten their way, but Raina had him on a leash. his traumas or whatever were told told and i didnt even care.😭
She ignored him for a week, so his brothers tied her to his bed. He ignored her for a week, so she poisoned him and made his brothers beg. He told her to dig her own grave and fake-shot (is that even a word?) her brother. 💀🤌🏻

Kaden Hunter—you PSYCHO. Damn, i wasn’t even that focused on the mains, I was more interested in him. I only stuck with this series because of this maniac *had to read in order, obviously 🤷🏻♀️*. He’s always spinning his knives, and that is so hot? Besides, i swear, there’s something off about him. If it weren’t for Eli, he’d have either killed or slept with Raina, and THE SEXUAL TENSION WAS THERE. He has beef with the Petrovs, and I guess his girl will be their sister? 😭 UGHHHH I’M EXCITED.
Jace & Rico are normal cuties but i know they're gonna be freaky 😈. One is peacemaker while the other DEFINITELY has a BAT kink. and Kaden has a stash of umm *cough* yk *cough* toys 🧸

I ate upp then took the crumbs to go 🙂↕️🙂↕️ This book was phenomenal it gave me everything I was looking for in an fmc of this genre. The characters, the setting, the story everything was so 👩🍳💋
If u wanna find the cure for ur hangover from those other series (listed at the bottom of the review) then this series is IT. New obsession unlocked iktr🫦
Also it’s vvvv trigger heavy so I’d suggest reading the triggers before starting instead of getting mad when you can’t handle something that is in an explicit list made for u to utilise and protect urself. Remember ur solely responsible for the media u consume (considering ur 18+ and if ur not get outta here) Xx

It was trash but like I fear I ate it up. There’s just something about a dark college romance series where each book follows a different unhinged morally grey man in a friend group….. oh and make it mafia?! This book was so binge worthy despite cringing on multiple occasions and feeling like I’m a teenager discovering wattpad for the first time.
Raina our FMC was also morally grey and just the right amount of bat shit crazy. I love her. Our MMC Eli was okay?? I liked him but Raina absolutely carried.
The plot was average at best, and left me personally wanting a bit more which is why I couldn’t rate this higher but like at the end of the day I was THOROUGHLY entertained and had a fun time. I’ll most likely continue this series when im in need of turning my brain off and giggling and kicking my feet.

Someone on my friends list in here is reading this which is the only reason it was brought to my attention, the cover doesn't scream to my cover hoe eyes so I would've bypassed it, But thank god for the blurb because that's what grabbed me.
As soon as my happy little heart had gotten it off Amazon I sat down and couldn't believe how quickly I was pulled into the storyline so effortlessly. Jumping into this I didn't have any preconceived expectations, not looking at reviews I didn't really know what to expect, I haven't loved a female character like I loved Raina Smith.
God she was so out of her depth at Blackwater University, she stood out like a sore thumb, an assassin she was not, and it showed. But god she was tough in other ways. She gave poor Eli Hunter a run for his money, he's one of the Hunter boys, these boys you don't mess with, you don't even look them in the eyes because you could become their next target. They are feared, bowed down to, no one crosses them..
Until her..
She was out for blood, no one messes with her brother and gets away with it, and she just put a target on with back with a smile on her face whilst doing it. She went for the jugular and marred his prized possession.
Nothing could prepare him for her, no matter what he threw at her, she never broke, she never bowed down, the push and pull these had was hilarious.
I lost count how many times this had me giggling, I loved her sass, I loved how she pushed his buttons.

There are so many things wrong with this book. It is so cringy, cliché, and outrageous that it is downright embarrassing how entertained I was. This book is what made me realize that I am very easily entertained and I need to get some standards.

Raina: Babe please stop giving out “insane grins” I swear I’m about to lose my mind. She had her moments, I’ll admit. She’s funny, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Well, she isn’t afraid of anything, really. But oh my god she reminded me of Harley Quinn. Not even in a good way, but like a “I’m so quirky and crazy” way. You know what, I apologize to Harley Quinn. You don’t deserve being compared to someone like this.
Eli: I thought Raina was bad until I got to his pov. Wow, he is sick in the head. And then you get his backstory and you’re like “Oh, I get it now”. Do I feel bad for him? Absolutely. But was I also reading the words on the pages in disbelief? You know it. The look on my face while reading some of these chapters was so concerning my mom had to ask me what I was reading. His character has some… interesting thought processes, to say the least. His “punishments” were just assault. But of course, Raina being our quirky psycho, was having a blast.
I’m too tired to even comment on the rest of the characters, but I like his brothers. That’s all I have to say about that.

She was fucking insane! Like nothing could scare her and that was sometimes so funny to see Eli’s reaction. A strong, independent woman who has no fear of violence or death - she was a legend.

He‘s perfect for Raina and I loved him. He is big, bad and dangerous with a little bit of craziness but that was hot.

This book was so good like I can‘t describe it.
To protect her brother Raina enrolls at a college for criminals and trains to be an assassin. This idea is quit unique and the setting was well described. I liked the worldbuilding and the whole „we all train to become killers“-vibe.
Eli was dangerous and crazy but I adored him. He is so obsessed with Raina and does everything to keep her safe. I enjoyed their tension and battles, it was entertaining and very well written.
Eli’s brothers were nice characters too and we get to know each of them, they are a big part of this book.
Raina is just the perfect girl for Eli and I loved that she got her own will and fights back.
This book was another great dark bully-romance by the author and I will definitely continue reading this series! Can‘t wait to dive into Ricos book.
Please only read this book if you’re aware that this is a bully (!) romance and sometimes very dark with a lot of violence.

That's what we have come to.
Consider this review as an option to tell me how you think this is a good novel.
For people who are thinking whether to read it or not, it's a big NO.
This novel is about a guy forcing himself on a girl repeatedly while his brothers hold her down. I am at page 59 and it has already happened twice. And mind it, these are the only two interactions they have.
The first time he meets her, he makes his brothers hold her while he "punishes" her by making her give him a blowjob.
The next time he spanks her in front of the entire cafeteria.

For people who are thinking whether to read it or not, it's a big NO.
This novel is about a guy forcing himself on a girl repeatedly while his brothers hold her down. I am at page 59 and it has already happened twice. And mind it, these are the only two interactions they have.
The first time he meets her, he makes his brothers hold her while he "punishes" her by making her give him a blowjob.
The next time he spanks her in front of the entire cafeteria.
How these things are allowed to be published is beyond me

Listen, if it’s not reserve harem, the bullying and torturing better be done by the MMC and the MMC only. Anything else just grates on my phucking nerves which this book did quite a lot 🙄
I did however love the FMC. She was funny, sassy and takes no prisoners. She’d had me cackling the entire book.
This was an easy read and I devoured it in no time. On to the next book in the series

Wow! That was unbelievable! Where do I even begin?!?
Eli & Raina we’re absolutely insane and honestly they were correct in saying they were a match made in hell. I was so surprised to see an FMC that was just as unhinged as these morally grey boys, and she was amazing. I loved everything about them. They did a great job with the back and forth enemies to lovers banter. Their spicy time was so aggressive and amazing and I loved how fiercely they protected and “owned” one another. There was the perfect balance of her being an independent crazy woman while also being a partner in crime to her man. There wasn’t over the top spice every chapter which made it that much sexier when it happened. My favorite thing about Ravens characters is she lets them be wild the entire time. They don’t have a 3rd act breakup where they try to become better people they’re just insane the whole time and I can’t get enough.

Seri John Wick evreni tarzında bir yerde geçiyor çok sorgulamıyoruz çünkü öyle, işte 20-22 yaşlar arasında suikastçi okulu gibi bir şey var, bunu aile işi olarak gören öğrencilerimiz var.
Eli abimiz bu suikastçi ailelerinin ennnn önde gelen ennn zengin ennn başarılı olanının en büyük oğlu, Raina ' da önde gelen bir suikastçı ailesinden geliyor ama elim olaylar neticesinde fakir ama gururlu ve bu ortamlardan uzak kalmış. İşte gel zaman git zaman bir şekilde bu okula giden Raina' nın abisi ile Eli arasında bi husumet çıkıyor Raina ' da dikkatleri kendi üzerime çekersem abimden uzak durur bu diyerekten sen de cahil cesareti ben diyim deli cesareti bir şekilde okula kaydoluyor falan ve olaylar gelişiyor. This book was fantastic from start to finish. Raven knows how to do a bully book right and what I loved loved loved with all my black little 🖤 is that she did it in one book 🙌.
Eli and Raina were absolute matches. Insane matches .. but still perfect for each other. In fact … imo …. Raina gave better than she got because she was all on her own where Eli had his 3 brothers backing him up and helping him out.
The background setting for this book series is so good .. a college for hitmen and the hunger games type setup for the climax of the story was awesome. I somehow think there will be more coming out in regards to Raina and Connors dad, I really hope we get that.
And it gets even better because Rico’s book is out tomorrow and I can dive right in.

What a pleasant surprise this book was. It's kinda nice to have a darker book without a ton of trauma. It's just a fun push and pull between two slightly insane characters who would literally do anything to protect their families.
Raina the FMC gave as good as she got, and I was here for her Harley Quinn-esk energy. Eli the MMC was your typical cocky bad boy who doesn't play by the rules because, for him, there are no rules.
This is a great starter teir dark romance for anyone who is just getting into the genre or anyone who needs a quick palette cleanser.

I discovered this book from the TikTok the author made where it only stated that the MC ignored the FC for a week so she poisons him to get even. And man was that scene a ✨chefs kiss✨ the rest of the book? Double chefs kiss. Keeps you very interested making for a fast read. And who doesn’t love an unhinged assassin version of Bonnie and Clyde?
