A good book that focuses more on pregnancy rather than after delivery. This book is a quick read.
The most insightful tips from the book: Visiting grandparents may just not work out - if that's the case, have them visit you. Baby proofing outlets doesn't need to happen in the first six months. Pediatrician can help with formula and contact with formula companies. Get a booster seats and not a high chair. Twin mom clubs are good. Sleep when you can. The current moment is only temporary. Journal and write for some self-therapy. People ask stupid questions - be prepared for it. The secret to twins: do one thing at a time.
This book gives a good introduction into twins. It's a nice overview without being too overwhelming or anxiety inducing. Very easy to read. Even though it's geared towards dads, it's good for moms as well.
A fantastic, easy to read super practical resource. Read it cover to cover in 2 days and will probably read chapters of it many more times on the coming months.
Solid, but reads like a bulleted list given the larger font and smaller pages. Not a bad resource, but others are more thorough. I appreciated the snippets of stories from other twin parents though!
Learning you are expecting twins is a shocker. After you get over the shock you go in search of material to help prepare yourself for your blessed miracles. This book hits the key points and is easy to read. It makes you think about what you "really need" vs what is just nice and probably expensive to get. This is from a dad's point of view, which is good. My BF read it and freaked at all that could happen and all that was needed, but in the end we both have a better idea of what is to come. Great book.
it doesn't answer every question you have, but it is a good book to read after skimming all the books your wife will want you to read. Joe has a good sense of humor with definite doses of reality. Everyone's situation for twins is different for sure and he can't talk about all of them. As a starter book its a good read that I think most future parents will enjoy.
This wasn't a long book, but it did have some good "what should I be worrying about" kinds of insights. I'm sure I'll be referring back to this over the next few months (we're just finishing the first trimester as of this writing).
This book is amazing ! The author is a twin dad. He drafted his experience so well and it could help lot of twin parents. I definitely recommend this book to all the twin dads and to-be
