Sculpture and paintings of the ancient Egyptians that are rarely seen in textbooks. They are shown with a no-nonsense commentary from anthro-photo-journalist Anu M'Bantu. From the world's first civilisation and they are unmistakably Black!
Very true look at the true origin of the Egyptian people that you won't find in a textbook. My dad always told me as a child that our people came from Kings and Queens. Awesome read!!!
Cognitive Dissonance. These two words, sums it up for the racist, bigots and nay sayers. I enjoyed seeing the pictures and how this pamphlet was put together.
Finished this book in less than 5 minutes. The pictures presented in the book were convincing. I was expecting a little more analysis then what was given but okay. “Big, broad lips, unmistakably Black!”, “Big, wide nose, typical characteristic of African feathers”. “Beautiful chocolate skin when Egyptians African”. Okay... The book also offered other books to explore for further information.
Like this book. Needed a little more content. A good start but needs to be developed into more concepts of historical impact of these findings in today's age of beauty standards.
A nice quick pictorial. I always knew about the Kemetic origin of this great civilization. This series should be required reading in every history class.
