This is a much-loved young adult series that I remember reading over and over again. Conspiracies, peculiar powers, secret agents, great characters, awesome action--it has a lot of the hallmarks of what attracted me to the supernatural genre. The ending wasn't what I wanted for the series, and I kind of got the impression that the author lost interest in the series and wrapped things up hastily. I really wish this series has garnered more popularity; I really think it deserved a lot of recognition.

I first read this book in 2008, and it was over a decade old at that point. This book is almost as old as I am, and I'm probably the only person on the planet reading this series in 2025. If you love a mix of teen drama and thrillers like me, request it through ILL at your local library. I can almost guarantee your library doesn't carry it.

I loved this book. I read this 16 years ago when I was a young teen and it is one of those books that I still think about.

This book will confuse you a bit so teh reader would have to pay a lot of attention to it. the story's about two people so sometimes you have to figure out who they're talking about, one or the other.
