This brief manual tells you what the Kindle Fire HD can do. It is easy reading and gives you an insight into the scope of content available. Jake keeps it simple and consise making his manual an okay read that I will vote as 3 stars. He puts you on the right path to enjoy your Kindle Fire HD for what it is.

Very good user guide
I have had 4 or 5 Kindles and this user guide covered some things that I never knew. There is one thing I wish it covered and that is adding an s d card.
The full instructions for adding the card and instructions for how to install it correctly would be very helpful. My last Kindle before this one that I still use would tell me that the sd card was not installed. The card is and was in the slot, but it continued to warn me that it wasn't.

Stunningly useless
Really? This book would not be a manual but needs to be considered an informational pamphlet. The information provided can hardly be considered essential but barely mildly useful to anyone who has been exposed to the very rudimentary concepts of personal handhelds.
Very disappointed in its lack of real depth in presenting any helpful information or useful topics.

It was okay...
It did what it was meant to do, which was be a manual on how to get the most out of your Kindle Fire. A bit boring, like reading a course book from college however, performed the required function.

Reading the manual that comes with the device have more information than this book does

Disappointing
Not at all what I was expecting. Too vague. Couldn't find anything I wanted. A shame because I'm struggling with my Fire. Already regretting buying it.

A bit pointless
OK as the type of quick start guide usually included in-box but nothing more. Similar or better are available free online in text or "how to" video form. If you don't know how to find these maybe this might be useful in getting started but that's its limit unless there are hidden sections I haven't been able to find or access. My advice is to go online and find what you need instead.

I didn't find what I needed
I gave it one star because I'm getting messages that tell me I must reregister one of my two Kindles.. Also I unable to remove books that I sampled and don't want to buy.
