Was Albert Einstein an atheist? Many celebrity atheist websites claim Einstein as their own, but what did the genius scientist really believe? In Einstein, God, and the Bible, international evangelist and best-selling author Ray Comfort explores the mysterious life of this great scientist. Putting to rest once and for all the questions about Einstein's beliefs, Comfort presents a strong case in Einstein's own words for the existence of God. I don't have much to say about this one; I didn't even finish it. The history on Einstein was interesting, and I really liked those parts of the book, but once the parts about Einstein's religious views started, it just got really repetitive. I felt like I was just reading the same thing over and over again, just with different wording. The author seems too biased and a bit arrogant at times as well. I didn't have the patience to finish reading it, so I gave up on it. It wasn't a total waste of time, but it's not something I'll go back to or recommend.
This is a very informative book. Learned much about Einstein and his beliefs. Though I pray that he did see the light and become a born again Christian I am happy to know that he did believe in a one God universe.
I really enjoyed this read. It has opened my eyes immensely. I’m not an Atheist, nor have I ever not believed in God, but this is a good book and worth sharing with others. I’d definitely recommend it to readers who are interested in the insight of a converted Christian. Also, what Einstein’s religious affiliation was throughout his life. Anyone who claims to be an Atheist, would probably find this book dismissive of their beliefs, but try it with an open mind.
An insightful and thought-provoking book by Ray Comfort. Einstein, God, and the Bible discusses just what it claims. It covers Einstein's life with a broad brush and then focuses on whether or not he was an atheist, agnostic, deist, or Christian. Ray manages to reveal Einstein's beliefs in his own words and sheds light on his view of God and the Bible. This book was an easy read and would make a great gift for anyone contemplating the deeper questions of life.
