Following the ordeal in volume I, Kenya has gotten her promotion along with a sweet basket of problems personally delivered to her desk. Jonathan Blakemore has to stop the man embezzling from his family, and there's only one person that can help save his estate. The saga continues.
Multipublished author, Cora Blu writes romance from within a marriage to her best friend. So if her heroes appear fantastic, blame it on her husband, her muse. In Michigan they live and love with three girls and a dog that refuses to believe he's not human. Cora can be found gardening, cooking, painting, camping, and riding horses. Enjoy.
This book delivers what most sequels don't do it got better, the first one was good real good......as close to real life relationships can get love/hate,sexy,hot,hottttt. Can not wait to read III.
Loved this sequel. There was lots of angst and drama and great characters. Kenya stood out for me. She was intelligent, bold and didn't take crap from anyone. She stood up to Jonathan's over-protective family, but she kept it classy. Jonathan was possessive, yet loving, loyal and sexy but don't mess with his family because he's got a dark side that's barely contained. We get a peek at the past that made Jonathan the way he is and I loved the familial interaction between Jonathan and his extended family. Kenya and Jonathan are faced with family that wants to ruin them both and they fight to the end to stay together and protect their family. Although they do everything in their power to stay together, outside forces threaten to ruin everything they've worked for, which leaves a great cliffhanger at the end.
