The previous two books in the series got switched from being fun and light-hearted to serious and kinda dark. A change in the tone of the books that never really fit my taste. This one, on the other hand, is light-hearted all the way through, which is a better fit for my testes.

I tend to dislike the sports competition isekai, but this book made it work.

There was some character development and the plot did move a bit.

Better than the second book and worth reading.
