Meet Sly Palatine - the deadliest assassin working for the Global Order Department. The outcome of your meeting will depend on the answer to one simple question - is your name on his list? If the answer is no - you have nothing to worry about. But if the answer is yes... we are very sorry but this is probably the last message you will be reading...
Telling stories has been my lifelong passion, a thread woven through my life from early childhood. The merging and molding of tales, drawing inspiration from various sources to create something fresh and unexpected, has been a constant source of fascination for me.
This enduring intrigue with crafting new worlds and breathing life into characters has evolved but remains unaltered at its core. In my writing, I am drawn to the creation of strange new landscapes, guiding flawed yet, hopefully, relatable characters through transformative journeys wherever the road may lead or end.
To date, I have authored thirteen novels and numerous short stories, each self-published on Amazon. My explorations span across genres including science fiction, adventure, detective mysteries, dark comedy, and satire. Often, my works emerge as a fusion of these genres, mirroring the intricate blend that characterizes our lives.
I extend an invitation to you, urging you to accompany me in exploring uncharted territories through my words. Together, we will navigate unfamiliar worlds, uncover concealed truths, and savor the journey along the way. The literary footsteps of Alfred Bester, Raymond Chandler, Harry Harrison, Arthur C. Clarke, and Ian Fleming have influenced my path and continue to resonate in my creative journey.
As a reader, I invite you to join me on a shared Odyssey, as we delve into the depths of the unknown. And so, our Odyssey begins!
What an exciting start to the series! I’ve been a fan of Vardan Partamyan’s writing for a while, and I was happy to discover that he’s working on a new series. This story introduces and presents the character of Sly Palatine, aka the White Wolf. He’s smart, dangerous, and deadly – and that’s just what we see on the surface. There’s much more to him, yet to be revealed.
The plot of the story is thrilling, but so are the characters. I enjoyed the fearless and spunky young Lucy, the efficient and hard-working Ms. Hutchins, and even the well-drawn character of self-centered and ruthless Albert Mobbs . I hope to see more of these characters in future installments. What a great beginning!
I liked the story and as always I enjoyed the writing style of Vardan, I definitely want to read the next hunts.
However, I can't give it a 5 star rating for a simple reason: I was more interested and excited about Mr. Mobbs rather than the white wolf. I thought he could have a good story and interesting background.
I came to know this autor by coincidence. What a happy coincidence.
Are you a reader who can only grab a few minutes to at a time to read? Welcome to the dark world of Vardan Partamyan’s mind and imagination! The White Wolf: The Hunts I is a brief introduction to the world of Sly Paladin, a deadly assassin known as The White Wolf as he rids the world of evil, one villain at a time. In this first “hunt” Sly and his two sidekicks are up against the evil Mr. Mobbs.
Vardan Partamyan’s dark sense of style in his writing sets the tone for what looks to be a fantastic set of quick break time reads, particularly if you like your action and crime with a touch of vigilante justice!
This is a very short short story, only about 15 pages. It is also the first tale of the series. So it is only an introduction.
The White Wolf stalks a truly repugnant individual. This was a really clever story but you get almost no setup beyond being shown how horrendous the villain was. It could have been the perfect conclusion to a longer story. Think James Bond here but instead of Bond tracking down the villain and seeing him sneak into the secret lair, all you see is him step out and shot the bad guy. It is like getting one bite of dessert and skipping the rest of the meal even though you are very hungry.
Hopefully the later hunts will let us learn more about the White Wolf and the reasons for why and how he does what he does.
In this great little introduction to The White Wolf series, we meet the main character, plus two of his compatriots, up against one of the most powerful villains on the planet, as well as getting a feel for the world in which the stories will be set.
In this introductory story, you will meet the character I have been dying to bring to life for some time now. It is the first in a series of five short stories or hunts as I call them and will introduce us to some of the key characters and events that will be featured in The White Wolf novel, which in itself is the prequel to The After/Life. I would like to welcome everyone to immense into the dangerous world of Sly Palatine - I hope you will enjoy the ride!
This short story is perfect to introduce the evil crude world and disgraceful people swarming it and the need for a proper hero and then revealing to us a man that is just perfect in evoking all our fantasies of a vigilante! Mr. Vardan Partamyan does a wonderful job of involving the reader so much into the plot that you wonder how it is just a short story that packs so much in it. This is definitely a great start for something equally amazing!
I wasn't sure at first with this cover because I don't like to read Zombie books but this is not a zombie book it is a great short read about Sly Palatine the deadliest assassin aka White wolf taking out bad men. I recommend this book to Crime, fantasy, and action. The quick read you were looking for!
I enjoy reading the author's sometimes flowery descriptions. The story had some suspense, but it basically just introduced a really morally compromised human being and had him killed off by the hero. The end.

This is the first book in a series, and I look forward to the rest of the series after the horrible crazy start of this one! It grabs ya from the very first pages, but is a very quick short read. Not my usual genre of book but I like to read all kinds and this one was worth it! The arrogant Albert Mobbs is easy to hate as the story starts and is being "hunted" by the white Wolf for his miss deeds. The rest of series continues with each new hunt of the White Wolf I assume. I am not sure genre this book falls under exactly, but I recommend it to lovers of fantasy, horror, and action-thrillers.
At a mere 15 pages, this book could nearly be described as flash fiction, yet it's not.
I would rather describe it as the first chapter of a book. If it were seen as that, I would like it - it has some unexpected twists and sets the scene for more to come. As a standalone book, even as a part of a series, it is too short and leaves too many questions.
I will definitely not buy any more chapters where I can get complete books for the same price.
