I was reading this with the expectation of reading a josei story only to find out that it's actually a shoujo, meaning I might have set too high expectation while reading this (confused).
As a shoujo manga it feels like having a quite mature story, I'm quite convinced that it is a josei until the end of the volume. However, I also felt something's off compared to other Ryo's josei works I've read, it feels like the most ordinary story she has written. Well, at least for this first volume so far.
Anyway, I decided to not rate it yet, since I heard the first volume is only the little piece beginnings of bigger stories (there are two initial stories in this first volume). Or it may be best appreciated as a whole series rather than as separated stories. Some kind of omnibus or may be even hyperlinked stories, with the way the stories are tied or connected or generally presented, seen as an important way in the storytelling interest, or so I heard. The French edition is titled 'Puzzle' anyway like it hints on something.
(Apparently a live action movie adaptation of this manga is coming soon. I found out that this seemed-to-be-stand-alone-volume-stories are actually continued in the next volume after reading the synopsis of the movie.)
