Crush 2 takes up where Crush left off and sets a different set of obstacles in Tracie Winters' way, this time in the form of a female co-star, determined to get Devon Moore in her bed. All her male co-stars end up there eventually, why should Devon be any different? The plot thickens further when Tracie's cousin Cora, twin sister to Tracie's best friend and personal assistant Carla, decides to wheedle her way to Hollywood and take from Tracie what should be rightfully hers. She IS a model and deserves her big break, no matter whose coat tails she has to ride to get there or who she has to use to do it. Add the arrival of Tracie's family to the mix, and Tracie's newly discovered sex life with Devon, and things are sure to get interesting...which they do.
Well drawn characters who leap off the page, smart dialogue and creative turns of phrase keep this New Adult novel interesting, the third one of it's kind I've read.
Looking forward to the continuing saga of Tracie and Devon, to be continued in Crush 3, as we are left on one hell of a cliff hanger.
