It's October 31st, but Robin needs Batman's help to learn the true meaning of Halloween...CANDY! And will Robin be able to tell the difference between the real evildoers and costumed children, or will the kids get clobbered while the villains escape?!

3.5 It was cute! However, too short for me to justify a 4 star rating. I might try to get the collected edition of all the Lil Gotham stories so I can read all of them at once.
Ummm. I'm not sure what happened. I love the premise, I love the characters... Hmm.
I went back and re-read the first two books. I don't know why I was being such a stick in the mud but right now I'm laughing and smiling. I this everything about this is genius. It's cute and fluffy and gorgeous. Seriously, the water colors are amazing. I know for a fact what I want in my life. I want a panel. Just one cause I'm sure it's going to be hella expensive but I want a panel from this series. I have to have me one... I'm not telling you which one so you can all go and find it and jack up the price for me ;-)
Hmm...5 8(!?!) books just showed up for free this week I wonder if we should be worried for them:
Not for people who don't have extensive knowledge of the Batman comics. Probably kids will like it and read it if they're Batman fans, but this set of vignettes about holiday adventures was confusing. One would have to know all of the ins and outs of the Batman comic books published through the years to understand who all of the characters are. No background is given. Very short and quick and that's nice if you're a younger kid or someone who already knows Batman, but I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't especially know Batman.
