These three books represent one story arc in the series. You really can not read one and not the others. This also is not a series you can pick up in the middle without having read the previous novels. Each book flows so seamlessly into the next I found myself not realizing I had gotten to the next novel. The author uses New Orleans as her backdrop for these novels and she couldn't have picked a better choice. With NOLA's history of witchcraft, voodoo and all things paranormal it lends a certain credence to these stories that otherwise would not be there.

All of the characters are well written, fun, feisty and have something unique to offer to each book. While Jade comes into her powers and is discovering how to be a witch and fights her battles against evil, her friends are right there beside her helping each step of the way. The novel offers so much in different types of characters without a vampire or werewolf in sight. If your looking for something away from those kinds of characters, then this is for you. It has witches, mediums, ghosts, ghost hunters, humans, angels and demons. Oh and don't forget the ghost dog!

This is truly a fantastic witchcraft/paranormal series. I already wish more books were out. Check it out, you won't regret it.

I had read the first book a few years ago, remembered liking it, so when this was free on Amazon, I one-clicked it. Glad I did. Refreshed my memory on book 1, then read 2-3. Enjoyable, but then I like Jade. She does get into some interesting situation. Some funny, some dangerous.

She's got a great support group. We should all have friends like Jade's.

A fun frolic in and out of hell

A good tale replete with angels, demons, magic, friendship and steamy romance. Interesting twists across the main characters, some more surprising than others. Well worth the time.

Harrowing

A very intense beginning to the series. The characters were strong and included witches, angles, and humans. A strong plot but was so drawn out that I began to lose interest and struggled through book three.

Very different type of genre for me. I enjoyed it immensely. Despite the subject matter it was a nice light read. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Jade Calhoun series

I enjoyed the beginning book of this series and Jade is flawed but extremely good. I could not deal with the horrific events towards the end.

My gym reading for the past month. Okay stories with good witch parts. The bodice ripping and hot thick male member stuff was disgusting I hate those kind of scenes

Jade Calhoun Series Boxed Set (Books 1-3) has the following titles Haunted on Bourbon Street, Witches of Bourbon Street, and Demons of Bourbon Street.

Haunted on Bourbon Street

Haunted on Bourbon Street is the first book in the Jade Calhoun series and this was just a great way to start off a new series. I just had so much fun reading this story. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Witches of Bourbon Street

Witches of Bourbon Street is the second book in the Jade Calhoun series and I just loved getting to reenter this world with Jade and see what she is currently getting her self into. I just absolutely loved this story it just immediately captured my attention. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.

Demons of Bourbon Street

Demons of Bourbon Street is the third book in the Jade Calhoun series and ahhhhhh I just couldn’t put this story down. It just captured my interest and I just didn’t want it to end. I just have so much fun reading this series. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

Ghost Witches Angels and Demons Oh My! We got a little of bit of everything in this set of books. Jade moves to New Orleans to be closer to her best friend only to find her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend. Jade gets a job in a coffee shop and lives above the strip club next door. Strange things are happening in her new, supposedly haunted apartments. Then her boss get attacked and they are having problems at the club.
On Halloween, the club manager finds pictures of three hags and hangs them in the club. Are they haunted too? Jade feels their pain and when Kade, her new love disappears, she knows that she has to uncover the mystery in order to bring him back.
Meri is stealing Jade's soul and she has to fight to keep it.
Three great stories that will have you crying at the end.

What you have is the first three books in the Jade Calhoun series. Excellent well written books! You will meet Jade, Kane, Pyper, Kat, Dan, Bea , Lailah and so many more. The stories are not stand alones as they carry off where the previous one ends. Yes, there are mysteries in each, ghosts some of which are not good, demons and some questionable angels. Jade is not wanting anything to do with covens but things in her life will not let that happen . As her involvement with the coven increases there are many changes in her powers and her relationship with many. Kane is her landlord but their relationship will go beyond the bounds of tenant/landlord. I love the ghost dog as her serves as a protector for Jade and Pyper. Read the excellent stories as I highly recommend this series!

I'm loving this series!!!

Jade is a character you will easily adore. Kane is the super hot boyfriend you will want as your own. Pyper is the awesome best friend that you will love. There is lots of fast pace action, hot steamy romance, some really good keep you on the edge of your seat suspense and some really great world building. I won't give any spoilers away but if you like witches, Angel's, ghosts, hot guys, spooky paranormal suspense, and happy endings you gotta read this series!

Decent stories of the supernatural type.

Jade Calhoun has always been an Empath but when she moves to New Orleans she ultimately learns she's more than that. There's a heavy romance novel twist to this set of novels but thankfully not as explicit as the last trilogy, by a different author, that I read recently. The characters are likeable enough if not slightly 2 dimensional.if you're into angels and demons, witches and strippers (Jade's boyfriend owns a strip joint) and some regular folks tossed into the mix, you may like these books.

I was really enjoying this book, Im just not sure if I'll continue the rest of the series, I honestly selected this as I was and I got what my reading slump was looking for; an Incubus read with traditional mythology with a little more mystery and frankly more intelligence and would be less of a cad and more romantic in tone.- That is Kane in spades. The clever plotline was great with FMC Jade being an empath was really intriguing with great comedic humour - then the book towards the end takes nosedive - characters become flat and lifeless - I wanted to love this more.

Reality Escape

The Jade Calhoun series is what I call my reality escapes. A quick little read that reminds you of a Stephanie Plum meets Sookie Stackhouse with a little bit of American Horror Story Coven thrown. I enjoyed the stories, the characters were well written, and the plots well developed. The romance aspect was a little too typical for me in how it played. I won't read again but the stories are worth reading if you want entertaining reads that don't take a long time.

Keeps pulling me back

This series gets rather complicated at times, adding demons, angels, more witches, bringing people back from the dead , finding characters in hell or purgatory.... It's rather hard to keep track of, but I keep on wanting to find out what happens next. Jade and her man Kane are just the beginning of some great characters and some wild adventures.

I really enjoyed these books and read through them very quickly. Jade is funny and I could very easily picture the secondary characters, that often fall off or get badly developed. The setting was fun, the characters too. No one ever seems to lose their sense of humor. And I think that is what made these books.

These were enjoyable reads. They were fun. I read the first a while back and it was a fun re-read, especially having the second and third to start right in on. The characters were fun and interesting, the situations were fun. I think the cartoon style covers do the books justice, the series has sort of a cartoon or comic book vibe.

I'll be getting the next books for sure.

To Help and Back

I'm not sure if this set would be a paranormal thriller, drama, or love story. However you look at it, author Deanna Chase has an awesome set of books. Fast Paced with steamy sex scenes, which were tastefully written, their is mystery, intrigue, drama and more. Strong characters with an intriguing story line make for a great read.

Angels behave badly

This was the third book in the series and it took an unexpected turn making angels seem little better than demons. Lots of near death experiences and unrealistic sympathies for the bad guys. I had to finish the boxed set of 3, but the next book sounds even more absurd than this one.

Excellent series!

I read the first three books as a trilogy. Love the many characters and the world building with witches, demons and angels! Jade is feisty and will not allow her friends to be hurt, even if it costs her everything.

Jade is an interesting character, with a way of attracting off the wall people into her circle. The evil has been rectified, and the balance between good and good intentions

Brilliant author, i love anything she writes!

I hated putting these three books down. I could have quite happily had read these books none stop, I wish I knew Kane even though he's only a character in a book I fell in love with him the first book I ever read about jade.
