I am falling in love with these main characters. As they reunite in Kansas City, and immediately begin to take on new danger, reaching her from the realm Astrid thought she left behind, they also begin to open up and understand each other.
The author has continued to effectively build the plot into a perfect balance of action and steamy romance as Kai and Astrid fight to protect the Realm of Light, to which she has become quite literally connected.
Astrid’s magic development is intriguing.
The story is fast paced with surprising twists.
The banter and tension between Kai and Astrid is sweet and steamy.
And the Kansas City references are quite fun for a local.
I encourage you to pick up book one, Found in Embers, and get started on this trilogy. I’m really excited for book three!

Amazing
Oh my gosh! Sitting on the edge of my seat reading this book. Gosh its so fast and amazingly great! I hope Lyric listened to Astrid. At least thought about what Asked said. I'm afraid Lyric is going to be betrayed.

Amazing continuation of Found in Embers. I love Lyric, Astrid, Kai, and Tyler. This book definitely held my attention the whole way through and I can't wait for the next one.

Got the first book free, I was hooked, brilliant love the story line and the characters can’t wait for more books from this author, I’m on book 3 now.
