Completely out of character, prim and proper Alicia, loses her virginity to a handsome stranger she just met at a party. Their night together is passionate despite the fact that neither know the other person's name. But it all ends the next morning when Alicia sneaks out of his apartment while he is still sleeping.
One month later they meet again, under different circumstances. The man sitting across the table, accusing her of embezzlement, is Adam Meyers, her one and only one-night-stand as well as her boss.
Incensed that the girl he hired private investigators to find, turns out to be a criminal, yet unable to forget how great they were together, he issues an ultimatum. His Bed. Or jail.
And this is where it started going downhill for me. How in the holy hell could this man run an entire corporation yet trust circumstantial evidence? It just doesn't make sense. You hire auditors, and investigator. We've already established that Adam knows what investigators can do. A wealthy tycoon simply don't trust the word of one f... man. Am I right... Or am I right? And equally incomprehensible: why would Alicia accept his terms? It's not like she'd be jailed before a trial, where they would demand, you know: hard EVIDENCE, not just her signature on a few pieces of paper. The actual culprit's evil villain tirade was laughable. The only reason I'm giving this three stars is because I actually enjoyed the two of them together, despite the ludicrous story and his control issues. Maybe I just liked the fact that he couldn't help loving her even when he thought she was a thief. Or perhaps I simply dream of being treated to high-end clothes and pampered in bed by a hot guy;-)
Ps Jeanny. If you're seeing this review in my update feed, that means I've fucked up again. (Haha.)
