Although I enjoyed this book, I found myself reading an IRR that had shadings of a "Donald Goines" street novel, along with a mystery/suspense novel. It was fast-paced in some area's, and indescribable in others...

Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Giving this one 3 solid stars.

This story was very emotional, as well as sad. The hurt, abuse, lies, and devastating acts Blair and Sterling endured were mind-boggling. Their journey to a better life was not easy.

This book was quite...interesting! I felt quite sorry for Blair and her children for the experiences they had been through. I can't imagine being on the run and constantly in fear of your life. Hubbard did a good job of developing the characters and sharing their backstories and allowing the reader to get to know the characters and treat them like actual people. It should be no surprise that my favorite character is none other than the asshole himself, Mr. Sterling Newman. His story will shock the hell out of you and make you question everything you thought you knew about how evil people could be. This book has some erotic scenes, (and some awful heart wrenching ones, too) but this story made me believe that with the right people in our lives, we can all overcome our past tragedies. We can all believe in love again.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Wicked Chances, I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to keep reading so I could see what was going to happen next. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information about the book. I recommend reading this book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Although these characters appear in other books, I had not read them as of yet, but I was able to understand this story line. Eventually i will go back and read the other books. I have to say, this is a bit different from some of the other books I've read by this author, but I really enjoyed it. It was definitely a rollercoaster ride. Nothing was predictable and every time i turned the page, it was a different surprise. I have many books by this author an di will continue to support and make sure I devour her backlist.

I received a copy of the book via booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review of my own thoughts and opinions.

Awasome read

I truly enjoyed this book. I have seached for King's Paradise. But, I was unable to find it because Wicked Chances has serious cliffhanger. Sylvia Hubbard-Hutula do your thang and keep writing these wonderful stories.

Love’s Bond

Two broken souls bonding and becoming one beautiful love. I love Sterling and Blair’s love story, to find that one soul that gives you life is an reward within itself. Great job Ms. Hubbard now I need King Heart story to wrap up all these burning questions.

This book was a bit hard to read. At times the story seemed rushed, but then you felt overloaded with details. The storyline is good, but I think it need more finesse to be more believable. I think that was what made it a bit difficult. A 16 year old that had a self made empire. I think if she was a bit older it would have worked for me. I think that some parts of the book are redundant. She keeps stating certain situations over and over and other parts of the storyline are barely mentioned. I think if she could have took some more time with this book it would have been much better.
