Azazel vowed never to tell Jason that she and Jude accidentally ingested the aphrodisiac and had sex, but now she's pregnant with Jude's child, and she can't keep the secret from him anymore.

Jason never intended to harm any other redheaded girls, but he finds himself compelled to stalk them and capture them. He can't let anyone find out.

But Imri knows Jason's secret, and he also knows that Azazel's unborn child is powerful--too powerful to be allowed to live. He will do everything he can to get at that child, no matter what he exposes, no matter who he destroys.

And despite their pain and confusion, Jason and Azazel must rally together to protect this child. Because no matter what, two things are true about them.

Their love cannot be broken.

And they will always survive.

Even though the author herself admits to having a hard time ending this series, you would think this was her plan all along! Gasp makes you do just that! Every new turn surprises you and brings you back to the original feeling you held when you read the first J&A. The series comes full circle in this finally installment and even though I am heartbroken to no longer have more J&A novel to read I am kinda glad to see it end, to let them finally rest. Jason and Azazel have taken us to some amazing highs and some crushing lows but as long as they had each other that is all that matters!

So we start off with Azazel being pregnant with... you guessed it! Jude's baby, because nothing can be simple with Jason and Azazel! After Imri discovers that the child might be a powerful force that will interfere with his plans of turning everyone into a blood thirst vampire, he tries everything in his power to destroy him. He of course kidnaps Chance and kills a load of our favorite supporting characters, which is sad, but honestly it's the last book, I am not surprised! Let's fast forward 17 years roughly and Imri is still out to get our new main character Hunter, and guess who else is there, Chance and Kenya are grown up and that baby from I dunno 3 books ago, yeah that one, you know which one... the baby has grown up too and center stage in the Chaos! Yes a lil pun. Anyways enough info on the storyline, I do recommend you read the book to find out all the juicy details!

Chambers does a great job The plot lines are breath taking and a riveting. The characters we have grown to love and adored deliver what we need to say our final goodbye to this tortured duo. We are left with a sense of loss and yet we know in the world of J&A they are going to live happily ever after.... well not in the traditional sense but since when have they been traditional! I am sad to see them go. I think I will have a lil cry later. Farewell Jason and Azazel!

Azazel is pregnant and traces of her magic have returned. Now she has to tell Jason he isn't the father. Imri will do anything in his power to ensure that Azazel's baby isn't born. Even if it means manipulating Jason to help him. This is the ninth and final book in the Jason and Azazel series. It's also the final book in the Jason and Azazel: Ambrosia trilogy.

Gasp is a paranormal story that begins right in the midst of the stunning dark drama. The first half of the story is told through an engaging narrative from alternating viewpoints between Jason and Azazel.

The secrets that Jason and Azazel have been keeping from each other are finally revealed. It was interesting to learn Jason's perspective and reasoning for enacting the dark ritualistic abductions. Azazel's pregnancy results in a whirlwind of drama and intensifies the threat from Imri.

The first half of the story is a dramatic string of suspenseful and violent events. It's a ultimately a tragic read that presents an uncertain future that Jason and Azazel will have to face together.

The second half of the story introduces new narrative viewpoints along with a significant jump in time. It's an eerie blend of events and influences from previous books reenacted through a new generation. I really liked the concept of the cycle beginning again especially since they tried so hard to avoid repeating past mistakes. It was an enjoyable read that gave a cohesive feel to the overall series and offered a satisfying conclusion to the Jason and Azazel series.
