After her last fuck-up, Star is on a mission, she is determined to get her life back in order and the only way to do that is to find the daughter she was forced to give up. Star, the coke-addicted porn star looking for a new start, is going back to the town that holds more nightmares than fond memories. Wanting to do this on her own, she sets out to face her past alone.
First day back in Woodstock, and she meets a young man who looks as out of place as she does in this hippie of a town and begin a friendship, but this friendship comes with an older brother who threatens every natural instinct of Star that she tries to suppress.
Chrome isn’t known for relationships, the Sergeant at Arms of the Hell’s Renegade MC, he’s used to fast rides and fast women, but nothing could have ever prepared him for Star, Starburst fucking Bloom. Three days is all it takes, they don’t know anything about each other outside the bedroom and their fucked up history, it doesn’t stop the attraction from building into something more than they bargained for.
I have to say I was really looking forward to Star’s story, after Hers, I knew I had to read Finding Willow as soon as it came out and I’m not sure if it was my expectations that were too high or what, but something was off. There was a bit of a difference in dialogue between Hers and Finding Willow, some things that didn’t add up that I had to stop and think because I could have sworn it was told differently this time around. Another thing that bugged me was that it was titled Finding Willow, but there wasn’t much finding going on, to me it was more like Finding Star and for a coke addict, she sure had an easy withdrawal.
Now even with all that, I still enjoyed the read, it was short but sexy, Chrome was delicious and the addition of River and Scarlett was a cute offsetting touch. I’m still gonna continue with this series, with Paisley’s story up next, I’m just gonna go in with a different mindset.

This book is one of very few that made it onto my DNF list. I have always felt like a failure when I couldn’t get through someone’s story, but in this case it is totally in the hands of the author. I read a wide variety of books; in fact one of my favorite genres is Dark Erotica. I am not shy with the sick and twisted. I have been able to enjoy and even LOVE several of the more fucked up tales, however Finding Willow is something else entirely.
First of all, I want it noted that I did in fact read Hers. I was aware that Finding Willow would not have rainbows and kittens. I was expecting an erotic story with a character that had a dark past, but would experience something that would help her become a better person. What I got… is a character that is sexually assaulted by her BFF’s brother from a very young age, and then raped as a young adult by the same man. Okay, what is the big deal you ask? These kinds of atrocities are used in books all the time. Yes, as a matter of fact these things and worse are written, purchased, and read all the time. I, myself, have read many books with these hard subjects. The difference is in the way the author wrote these scenes. Instead of portraying rape as a brutal attack, the author has her victim enjoying the events. Again, you say, not so different than some of the human trafficking stories out there. It is, very much so. With other stories the victim typically is in the mindset of “oh god why is my body betraying me, this is so wrong, I shouldn’t like this. No, please, don’t. No more. NO.” In Finding Willow… this isn’t the case. Instead of describing it I will just give you one of the examples straight from the book….
“I let out a strangled moan as Blue pressed his thick erection into my tight cunt. It was only the second time he’d fucked me. The first time he’d forced himself on me, and I’d hated it. It ruined me, but I loved the feeling. I pushed back to meet his dick.”
I have several issues with this brief paragraph…
When writing a RAPE scene, don’t use EROTIC language. Rape is not sexy. Rapists don’t push “thick” erections into “tight” cunts. They force themselves into UNWILLING vaginas.
It was only the second time he had fucked her? NO, it was only the second time he had RAPED her. Even if she didn’t fight back, with the long term sexual abuse at his hands and the fact that he already RAPED her to take her virginity. He did not FUCK her he ATTACKED her.
I hated it, it ruined me… those are great descriptions of RAPE we are finally on the right path and then… she “loved the feeling” no, no, just NO. Rape victims do not think to themselves, “oh yes, I love the feeling of being raped.”
She pushed back on his dick… um, again, NO. If her life was on the line if she didn’t PRETEND to like it that is one thing… but there is not a single word in this book to explain that she is pretending.
And as if this little bit wasn’t bad enough? No, we go even further into the land of insanity when…
“You like that, Star?” he grunted as he fucked me harder. My moans picked up, enjoying every desperate thrust.
“Oh Blue, fuck me!” I yelled, as I bucked my ass back to meet his thrusts one last time as my release crashed over my body."
That’s one sexy scene right? I know that would normally get my motor going, but then you remember… she is in the middle of being RAPED. These kinds of descriptions are the type used between lovers NOT an attacker and a victim. I did, as always, give the author a chance to redeem herself. I kept reading. I tried to find some sort of likable quality to this book, but there is none. Star does not grow. The book alludes to the fact that she is going to go in search of her daughter, which she does, but being selfish as normal she doesn’t really spend much time focusing on the daughter she says she never wanted to part with… instead she finds a man and proceeds to continue to live the same messed up kind of life she has always had. Where is the development? The growing up? The storyline itself minus the previously stated grievance is beyond lacking.
Another MAJOR issue I have with Finding Willow… there is no warning beyond the “mature audiences” norm that you find on any romance. There is nothing to warn potential customers that the content contains abusive situations that aren’t suitable for some readers. Hell, there are a dozen ways warnings can be issued without giving away the storyline. Personally, I believe authors have a responsibility to ensure that their words will not negatively impact their readers. In this case, I feel that this author is negligent and irresponsible. She has been advised by several people that she should have a warning on her book, yet she still has done nothing since when she puts the appropriate warning on the book she will no longer be able to publish in the genre she wants. There is a reason the criteria for a genre is the way it is. My fear is that someone who has been molested or raped will pick up this book and be completely blindsided by these horrendous rape scenes. What if that person is not in a good place with dealing with their own past? The kind of language in this book could be enough to push a person over the edge and/or set them back in their recovery. Is selling a book really more important than protecting your readers from harm?
Finding Willow gets one star because that is the lowest rating available, but if I could review this and mark it as DNF instead of giving it any star rating I would. A huge disappointment. I would like it noted that although some of my words in this review may be considered harsh, they are honest. I hope that the author will take some of these thoughts to heart and appropriately warn her readers about the disturbing content. Frankly, I am shocked that there are so few reviews that have made mention of the offensive content and skipped right to the parts where Star is an adult screwing her biker.

Poor Dawn Robertson, the victim.
This book is terrible anyway, but now we all need to hear about how hard she worked on it. What did it take her, a month? The story is something a child writes.
Now she's up in arms because Amazon blocked her book. Maybe she shouldn't write about a teenager's "squirting cunt." It is sad that she thinks she's the voice of indies but based on blog reviews, she might be. That is probably a sign that indie publishing needs an upgrade.
Squirting genitals aside, this is maybe the dumbest book I have read all year.

I'm unsure how to rate this book, so I'm going to give it 2 stars. The writing wasn't bad, and even the subject matter isn't anything that hasn't been addressed in another book. Why I'm having a problem rating it is because I would like to know why this book has no warning about the content within it, aside from the general "mature reader" warning. There are sexual situations with young children and rape in this book, why isn't that explicitly said in the synopsis? The reason why this bothers me so much is because, as a mental health professional, things like this can be serious triggers for survivors of abuse. This isn't about "artistic expression" or free speech, this is about the fact that this book could literally hurt someone who picks it up and doesn't know what is contained inside. I generally admire books that are outside the box and aren't classic happy endings, and I've read other books that address these issues, but have the decency to tell the reader what they are getting themselves into. Please consider putting a better warning on this book, for the sake of the general public.

This book is a DNF for me. I cannot read a book that has references to child molesting happening during the course of the story; especially with no warning on the book whatsoever.

I bought the book in 2014 and today I came across it and I decided to read it.
In this book we have the story of a porn star and biker dude.
She's the heroine's best friend from the previous book.

We all know Star from the book Hers . The fuck-up best-friend of Seven James. After the shits she done in her life being a porn star and an addict Star decided to come clean to Seven about her past. She decided to find her daughter that she gave up because of her family. She came back to Woodstock to find Willow but then things happened she fell in love with this hot ass biker Chrome.
I can say that Star is not my favorite character from the first book but she is an interesting character. I enjoy reading this short yet sexy hot story. I love the writing style of Dawn and this is series is amazing.

Dawn you beautiful, beautiful woman! I was blown away with This 2nd installment to the Hers Series, Starburst Bloom had me feeling all kinds of feelings in this second book,We were introduced to her in the first book HERS as Seven James' BFF.. Star hasn't had an easy life like Seven.. Star has been abused,used, and thrown away by any man she comes into contact. Not ever fully coping with the Sexual Assualt by Seven's older brother Blue, Star has lead a life with Drugs,Alcohol, and sex.. LOTS of it. She is the queen of porn. What happens when things change and life catches up with Star? She tries to get back up and move on.. but this time, she wants to find the daughter she gave away 11 years ago. Star has to go back to Woodstock .. can she survive going back dealing with her demons and find her daughter? Being back in Woodstock isn't easy .. going back to a place you consider Hell is never easy.. but to me seeing how Star goes back even though she's scared is the strongest thing anyone can do. She is stronger than she thinks.. I soo felt with Star ..I was having an emotional battle .. crying one minute, laughing the next, wanting to kick butt all in between.. She's on a mission until she literally runs into Chrome.. a hot, sexy, bad ass, biker...WITH AN APA!!!OMG!!! I felt like I was gonna spontaneously combust from their attraction and dirty, dirty words! Here is a little blurb from their first meeeting! We met Star on
Hers
as Seven's long-time best friend. As we had seen, her life was a mess and spiraling out of control. She needed to get her act together, pull up her big girl panties and deal. Frankly, I didn't think she had it in her.
Dawn Robertson sure proved me wrong. Packed-full of self-reflection and inner struggles on Star's part, honest dialogue and amazing characters, she made Star's story one hell of an emotional ride. I enjoyed how the author went about bringing Star's growth to the page. It wasn't sudden and it wasn't easy. She struggled, questioned and at times found herself wondering if it was worth it.
This story intersects with the storyline in Hers but it recounts the events in Star's POV, truly giving us an idea of the extent of Star's regret over events passed and her struggle to keep herself in line.
The addition of some new characters helped the story move along nicely and added another aspect to the story. Chrome and River were awesome characters to read. Chrome with his sexy, alpha-male attitude and heart of gold, he had me from the moment he step out of his bike. And how about that adorable daughter of his! He was caring and honest, but bad-ass too. I loved him! River was great too. Chrome's brother was a nice guy and the first friend Star encountered when she arrived back home. The friendship he offered Star showed her kindness the likes she had never known from a male 'friend'.
Then there was Blue, we met him on Hers. Suffice it to say that he didn't make a great impression then and it only worsened from then. I wanted to throttle him and give him some of his own medicine. He truly was a nasty person and I'm glad he got what was coming to him.
Needless to say that the romance part of the story was fabulous. Chrome and Star's chemistry was off-the-charts HOT and I enjoyed every minute of it. More than once, I found myself backtracking and reading some scenes over again. Hell yeah, I was thorough! Dawn Robertson knows how to bring the character's passion to the page. Their urgency at getting at each other, their relief at finally getting to it and of course, every little juicy detail in between.
Well done, Ms Robertson. You've found a new fan in me!
Although Finding Willow is the second book in the Hers series it can be read as stand alone since it focuses on Star's journey to let go of her past, her new found romance and her search for Willow, who's an integral part of Star's past.
I received this title in exchange of my honest opinion as part of my participation of the tour.
Dawn Robertson sure proved me wrong. Packed-full of self-reflection and inner struggles on Star's part, honest dialogue and amazing characters, she made Star's story one hell of an emotional ride. I enjoyed how the author went about bringing Star's growth to the page. It wasn't sudden and it wasn't easy. She struggled, questioned and at times found herself wondering if it was worth it.
This story intersects with the storyline in Hers but it recounts the events in Star's POV, truly giving us an idea of the extent of Star's regret over events passed and her struggle to keep herself in line.
The addition of some new characters helped the story move along nicely and added another aspect to the story. Chrome and River were awesome characters to read. Chrome with his sexy, alpha-male attitude and heart of gold, he had me from the moment he step out of his bike. And how about that adorable daughter of his! He was caring and honest, but bad-ass too. I loved him! River was great too. Chrome's brother was a nice guy and the first friend Star encountered when she arrived back home. The friendship he offered Star showed her kindness the likes she had never known from a male 'friend'.
Then there was Blue, we met him on Hers. Suffice it to say that he didn't make a great impression then and it only worsened from then. I wanted to throttle him and give him some of his own medicine. He truly was a nasty person and I'm glad he got what was coming to him.
Needless to say that the romance part of the story was fabulous. Chrome and Star's chemistry was off-the-charts HOT and I enjoyed every minute of it. More than once, I found myself backtracking and reading some scenes over again. Hell yeah, I was thorough! Dawn Robertson knows how to bring the character's passion to the page. Their urgency at getting at each other, their relief at finally getting to it and of course, every little juicy detail in between.
Well done, Ms Robertson. You've found a new fan in me!
Although Finding Willow is the second book in the Hers series it can be read as stand alone since it focuses on Star's journey to let go of her past, her new found romance and her search for Willow, who's an integral part of Star's past.

So i will start off by saying that Star wasnt my favorite person in HERS, i didnt like her at all, but i have totally changed my mind about her after reading Finding Willow.
Star came across as self absorbed and very selfish in HERS, i felt she used Seven and gave nothing back in there friendship. But after reading this story i feel like Star just didnt know how to give love to others, she never really had a loving relationship in her life be it from her parents or family or in any relationships. I think if Star had been able to keep Willow she would have had a better understanding of what love really is.
I liked how this story was kind of set in the same time line with Hers it fit in really well.
The more you read about Star and the way she grew up, the life she lead you understand her so much more, the emotions pour off the page and by the time the story is through you just want to give Star a bloody big hug.
Chrome is a perfect match for Star hes hard tough exterior appeals to Star, he looks like the typical bad boy, but he has a soft center, hes protective and has a good side that Star really needs. Star really need Chrome and his family, she has never known what it is like to belong and have friends other than Seven. I fell for Chrome right from the very start, and he has a sexy piercing for god sake!
I even liked him when he was being a bit of a dick with the girl in the ally!
The whole Finding Willow part of this book blew me away, let me just say Star’s family just Fu&kin suck ass, they are down right nasty, i dont like to give too much away in spoilers so just take my word for it, read the book and it will all become clear.
I practically jumped for joy with the Blue and Star scenario in front of her new house, i was like go Star, he’s a douche and got what he deserved. This man made my skin crawl.
This whole book is so very fantastic and is a wonderful read, how Star finds her place in the world as well as her daughter is just beautiful.
Let me tell you what else is beautiful in this book, the sex on a motorbike, Jesus that was a hot read loved it!
I learned to love Star but Seven is still one of my favorite book characters in a long time one of the best lines in the book belongs to her,
“I never thought I would see the day where this porn star bitch could put together a fucking Martha Stewart holiday. I think hell just froze over”
I cannot wait to read Kink the halls now to see how Christmas goes for this wonderfully dysfunctional extended family.

Finding Willow is the follow-up to Hers. When I finished reading Hers, I was not a fan of Star. She was selfish, inconsiderate, and strung out.
While reading Finding Willow, Star (Starburst Bloom) redeems herself. We see her struggle to find her place in this world. Where does she belong? She isn’t sure, but the one piece that has been missing from her life is her daughter. Star will go to the ends of the earth to find her. The includes returning to her hometown of Woodstock.
We follow Star to her hometown and watch as she tries to change her image and who she has become. There are some hot guys in Woodstock. Namely, River and Chrome. Ah, Chrome. *Insert total swoon here* MC guy with hot body and attitude. Holy crap.
The relationships in this book are essential to the story. The relationship that develops between Star and River, the relationship between Star and her parents, even the relationship between Star and Chrome. Dawn Robertson tells a story of loss, faith, and hope.
It really is a great story, with some pretty awesome characters. Emotions are running high because Star is heading into the unknown when it comes to finding her daughter, especially after her parents come into the picture. The intense relationship between Chrome and Star (even at the beginning) was fun to watch unfold. Oh, and this is erotica…there is a lot of intense, hot, steamy sex. Just want to warn you before you start reading. I love the story, but the sex scenes are delicious.
I loved following her search for her daughter and some of the twists and turns that have to do with Blue (hate that guy). Dawn Robertson creates characters that are flawed, but aren’t so far gone that they can’t be saved. Watch as Star finds a family, a lover, and a happily ever after. This is a book that is NOT to be missed.

I received this book from the author after my Twinsie Partner in Crime and i kept Pming her about how much we loved Hers. We fell in love with these characters and NEEEEDED to read more.
So I must admit, I am in love with Star. I really didn't care for Star in Seven's book. I thought she was a shitty, mooching friend.....man was I wrong. She is such an awesome person who has survived unimaginable cruelty and neglect at the hands of her "parents" and Seven's older brother. I was really impressed with how Dawn was able to really help me SEE Star for the hurt person she is and really explain WHY she did alot of the things she did. I felt so bad fro her because she was trapped in the same cycle of abuse until she decided to find her daughter.
Chrome is a bit of tasty on a bike. Wow I kept picturing I was watching Sons of Anarchy. I kept waiting for Jax to scroll on to the page and bark an order at him. I loved hearing his story. He is such a hard ass but boy does he fall fast and hard for Star. He loves her for her , imperfections and all. Isn't that true love? to ba able to see someone with their flaws but find beauty in them anyway? Well, I loved the support he offers her in form of a lover and friend. He shows her how a "real" family can be and gives her a safe place to be Star...not Star the whore, Star the porn star, or Star the druggie....just Star.
So this book is all about Star looking for her daughter that she was forced to give up. I will say when her parents talk to her about the baby, I was STUNNED!!!! I also loved how Chrome just inserts himself in their lives and doesnt let Star argue. I loved the holiday scene at the end. I cannot wait to start Kink the Halls which is already opened up on my kindle!!
Oh one more "minor detail"....the sex was holy shit, panty melting, steamy, crack an egg on the sidewalk and cook it HAWT...just incase you were wondering!!!

I want to re-invent myself. I want to change my life so one day Willow can say, that is my birth mom, and actually be proud of it.
I loved this story....I didn't think I would really care about Star's story, but I felt I actually liked her story more than Seven's and I loved Seven. Dawn Robertson wrote an incredibly broken character...who you can not help but love.
Star's love interest is biker dude Chrome...he is smoking hot and is the perfect match for Star. Their love is instantaneous and it works...it wasn't contrived or fake. They were 2 halves, that made a whole.
No one has ever called me perfect. Ever. I have always been broken. But to him, I am perfect.
Finding Willow brought out all the emotions within me…there were times I cried, laughed, rejoiced and was angry. Dawn Robertson writes some very emotional situations – adoption, rape, drugs, and murder. I think there are many people who will read Finding Willow who will relate to some of these situations and in relating will feel for Star. She is the type of character you want to bring home and say, “Star, I will love you, I will care for you, I will make you strong and I will teach you how to forgive yourself.” Fortunately for Star she is written a man who will do all that for her…Chrome.

This is the follow on book from Kink the Halls.
Now that I've read this book I realise why there is so much sex and very loose morals in the other book. Porn stardom. How she got into it. What happened to her growing up. A lost baby named Willow and why she acts like she does. People would read at the beginning thinking what a disgusting slut! At last the pieces came together.
This is most definitely not a book for everyone's taste.
I once again got this book given to me by the author as an ARC. I signed up for the blog tour and didn't realise I was getting the books too. It wouldn't have been my first choice of read, but by golly the story was excellent. Its graphic, so you need a broad mind.
It was excellently written. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Holy Friggin Hotness!!! Finding Willow is book 2 in Dawn Robertson’s Hers series and I totally recommend that you read book 1 “Hers” before you read this one in order to obtain the full effect. I really loved this book, loved all the characters and especially loved the plot. This book had me from page one just like the first one did and I couldn’t put it down. The story line is based on Star’s story and enlightens you will all of the details you wondered about when she was first introduced in the series. Finding Willow had the right combination of edge and sex that kept me hooked through the entire book and I really hope there will be more to come from this series.

I really enjoyed this book. I like the characters and the story line. Star, callused from the trauma of her family life growing up, decides she needs to make a change in her life. She know her life spiraled after having her daughter taken away at birth. She sets out to find her lost daughter and runs into Chrome and River. I loved that she removed herself from her past life to find what she was really missing in life.
I would highly recommend this series and this book.

Loved it
Dawn is an Amazing author and this book was no disappointment. I loved every page of it! Hers was Amazing and Finding Willow was equally so. If your looking for a book that will keep you awake at night reading than this is the book for you! definitely a must read.

But Star's main focus is on finding Willow and getting away from Blue which is easier said than done, especially when he shows up looking for her. For those of you who have read Her, you are familiar with Seven's best friend Star. Star and Seven have been friends since they were children, often left alone together with her older brother Blue while their parents went off and did whatever they wanted to do. Star and Seven have always hated their parents, but for Star that hatred grew when she was forced to give up her daughter after she was born. Star is so misunderstood in Her, you would think she's just a sex and drug addicted porn star looking for her next hit and next warm body to warm her bed. One would never guess that she has a secret that has followed her around for the last decade. I loved River and Chrome. While River is not talked about much during this book, he will make an appearance is Kink the Halls and the next book in the series featuring Star's sister Paisley. I fell in love with these two during Kink the Halls and cannot wait for their return for Paisley's story. Chrome was a big hot bad-ass biker who under it all was loyal to his family and will protect them with his life. As the Sergeant in Arms for his MC he's often out handling club business, but when he's around he's fierce, loyal, and he's sexy as sin. I cannot wait for the next book in this series since I have already ready all three and look forward to reading more of this series. The only thing that downgraded by review from a 5 star to a 4 was that the story was too short for me. It just felt like everything was rushed and I could've used more time reading about Chrome and Star before the book ended. Hopefully we'll see more of them in the future.

Finally ready to give up her porn star lifestyle in Manhattan, she returns to her hometown of Woodstock to try to find her daughter. The search isn't easy, so much time has passed, but Star is determined to find her daughter and start the next chapter of her life. It's here in a rundown hotel that she meets River. River works at the front desk and quickly becomes her friend. River wants more, but the second that Star meets his older brother Chrome, she's hooked. Chrome is used to having women fast and easy. He hasn't let a woman near his heart since his ex Michelle did a number on him, leaving him with a daughter to raise on his own.
What was suppose to be a one night stand becomes so much more to these two. Their attraction was instant, their feelings growing more and more with time. But Star's main focus is on finding Willow and getting away from Blue which is easier said than done, especially when he shows up looking for her. Can Star find her daughter and her happily ever after? Or will her story be over before the next chapter of her life begins?
For those of you who have read Her, you are familiar with Seven's best friend Star. Star and Seven have been friends since they were children, often left alone together with her older brother Blue while their parents went off and did whatever they wanted to do. Star and Seven have always hated their parents, but for Star that hatred grew when she was forced to give up her daughter after she was born. Star is so misunderstood in Her, you would think she's just a sex and drug addicted porn star looking for her next hit and next warm body to warm her bed. One would never guess that she has a secret that has followed her around for the last decade. I loved River and Chrome. While River is not talked about much during this book, he will make an appearance is Kink the Halls and the next book in the series featuring Star's sister Paisley. I fell in love with these two during Kink the Halls and cannot wait for their return for Paisley's story. Chrome was a big hot bad-ass biker who under it all was loyal to his family and will protect them with his life. As the Sergeant in Arms for his MC he's often out handling club business, but when he's around he's fierce, loyal, and he's sexy as sin. I cannot wait for the next book in this series since I have already ready all three and look forward to reading more of this series. The only thing that downgraded by review from a 5 star to a 4 was that the story was too short for me. It just felt like everything was rushed and I could've used more time reading about Chrome and Star before the book ended. Hopefully we'll see more of them in the future.

Finding Willow is the follow on book after Hers, Star's story overlaps Seven's so if you haven't read Hers don't read this. This is Star's story, her story of love, loss and betrayal.
After seeing her best friend Seven's life take a turn for the better, Star looks at her own life. Stuck in the same cycle with Blue, work and drugs she needs and break and she wants and needs things to change. She wants to take her life back. Star decides to head back to Woodstock to try and find Willow, the daughter she had given up for adoption.
Back in Woodstock staying in a little B&B she connects with the kid running the place, River.
"One lost soul to another? This place is good to get your shit straight"
While Star is back on her old stomping ground she doesn't have any real friends around she takes River up on his offer for dinner. Walking back to the office Star collides into a rock has body. Looking looks up to see a mountain of man, a tall dark and handsome man with the most beautiful looking eyes she has ever seen. What girl doesn't love a HOT biker, sorry did I not mention that this mystery man is a biker. Just like that this bad boy is on his bike and tears away before she even gets his name. Having dinner and a chat with River is exactly what she needs and before long enough she has opened up to him about her painful past.
Hearing the roar of the bike back Star can't help herself and checks out mystery man, desperately needing something for her car and of course a chance to meet mystery man she rummages around until his voice stops her in her tracks.
"Does Cinderella have a name" I am completely sucked in. Done for. My fucking will is gone. It is replaced by animalistic Desire for this sexy as fuck stranger. "I prefer Cinderella, but if you must know my name is Star".
"You following me, Prince Charming?"
Meet Chrome, Chrome has Star letting down all her defences and making her weak at the knees for him. Wholly hell batman Chrome is a sexy ass badass biker with a sweet side. When Star and Chrome get together you better hold on its Hot and Steamy. Oh did I mention Chrome has a Prince Albert and not a regular Prince Albert.
Star collides with her past more then once and wether she likes it or not she now needs to deal with. Her family has kept secrets from her and held things back from her.
I am going to stop here before I spoil the book. If you didn't like Star in Hers you will love her in Finding Willow, we see another side to her and find out why she is the way she is. This lost broken soul is finally starting to put back pieces to her life and along the way finds the one thing she wasn't looking for the love and devotion from a hot as hell man. I loved the banter between Star and Chrome the first time they met.
I absolutely loved Hers and Finding Willow and can't wait to read Kink the Halls and This Girl Stripped. Loving your work Dawn Robertson

Star is probably one of the strongest characters I have ever read. But the thing about those strong characters is that she has no idea how strong she really can be. But before I begin my review, if you have not read, Hers, please stop reading. I am going to give away stuff from that book because that book is the foundation to Finding Willow.
One bad night causes Star’s world to spin off it’s axis, but it is the only thing that is going to give her that final push to be the person she wants to be and to find the only person she wants in her life. Star knows in her life she has only known love from one person in the world, her best friend, Seven. She knows that she will never be more than exactly what she is. The only thing that will make her complete is not money or her job, but her daughter. Seven lived a lifetime of torture because of the same person that her best friend hates with a passion. Seven’s older brother, Blue, has been causing problems for these girls for a very long time. Seven hates him and doesn’t have any idea excactly how much damage he has caused for her dear friend, Star.
But when the secret cannot be kept anymore, Star does the one thing she needs to do. She seeks out her daughter, Willow. Star was forced by her parents to give will up when she was just hours old. But now, no one will stand in her way of finding her daughter.
But this journey takes her back to the one place she really has no desire to be for very long. But once she gets there, things happen, people happen and her life finally begins.
This book was a great follow up to Hers. A beautifully damaged girl just looking the one thing she has been denied all these years. It is learning to accept your past and put it behind you. It is about finding self-worth and value. It is about allowing yourself to love and to be loved. This book was beautiful and disturbing all at the same time. The things Star has live through are just heartbreaking, but finding the one person who can change how she feels about love in the process of searching for her daughter just makes it a fabulous story.
Dawn Robertson did such an amazing job with this book. She showed us terribly flawed people can become more than there pasts and she did it in a very hot and steamy way. This book was so much more than a romance novel. It really pushed thinking on so many topics that we are not used to thinking of and I appreciated that Dawn went there with this book. It was hard to read some of the events from Star’s past, but Dawn told her story in such a beautiful way. I was taken by this book and didn’t want to put it down. I had to find out if Star finds Willow and if she finds a little true love in the process.
Beautiful story about such a beautifully flawed girl.

I do a lot of reviewing for blog tours and reviews for authors as favors and such. Sometimes I'm contacted personally and sometimes I find books on Netgalley that I review. Anyway- it isn't often that I can scroll through my never ending TBR list of books that I've already purchased on Amazon and pick one to read. But lemme just say- when I do get the opportunity- Dawn Robertson NEVER disappoints! You are guaranteed to read an amazing, fun, comical, gritty, altogether phenomenal story when you read this authors work!
Now, as I wrote on my review for Hers- I ended up screwing up not knowing that this book was the second in the series, so I started reading this and realized CRAP- I need to read book one first. Thank heavens I did or I would've been somewhat lost going fully into this book... I'm glad I only made it 30% before my brain turned on.
Hers is about Seven and Levi- but this book was focused on Star and a man she meets in the beginning of the book while she's traveling, Chrome. First I just wanna point one thing out: HOW FREAKIN COOL ARE THERE NAMES? Usually you only read such unique names when reading paranormal, utopian, dystopian, or sci-fi books. I just loved how the characters strong personalities fit the names perfectly! Chrome the biker dude. Star the pornstar badass bitch. Seven the rich, prego, won't take shit from anyone business owner multi-millionaire. & then there's Levi, with the common name- who is a common nice guy that works hard, plays harder, and loves the hardest. Levi loves Seven like no other! So I rest my case on the names here- I just really needed to get that off my chest. Lol!
Obviously reviews are all about honesty and I'm never anything short of, so I'll be blunt. I didn't enjoy this book as much as Hers. The sex was great, the love was passionate, the charisma was totally there. BUUUTTT I just didn't feel as 'into it' as I wanted to feel, unfortunately. I can't really put a finger on anything significant- I wanted more conflict, issues, hurt, pain, etc. The stuff readers love to read about- you know. The book was very very good and maybe it's just me being stupid or having my expectations way too high because I fell so hard for Hers.
At about 75% through the book I was set pretty hard at a 3 star rating and then five minutes later my jaw droppppsss. Like probably harder then it's ever dropped before. For any of you that have already read this story, you know exactly what part I'm talking about. For those who might- I'm not leaving any spoilers here. Readers that like a fun book with a gut wrenching surprise, loads of hot steamy sex, lust around every corner, and sweet love- READ THIS. You are guaranteed to fall in love with the main characters- it's practically impossible not to!

*4.5 Stars*
After finishing Hers, I was happy to find out we would get Star’s story. Finding Willow starts around the 70% mark of Hers. In this book we get to read about Star’s addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex and Blue (Seven’s older brother). This was an emotional read and at times I had tears in my eyes. Star has a lot of guilt about what happened between Blue and her and how it affected her relationship with Seven.
In Hers, I really did not like Star but after reading this book, I loved her! I ended up loving this book more than the first. I wanted to jump into my Kindle and hug and punch Blue for all that he did to her and her family too. We see Star change and grow so much in this book, and even though her past was a mess she pushes forward for her new life.
“My problems are pathetic. I’m a coke addicted porn star looking for a new star. There isn’t much more to it.”
At the end of Hers, we know Star is searching for her daughter, Willow. How that plays out is sweet. I don’t want to give any spoilers but I really enjoyed how that ended and how Star got more of a family aside from just her daughter.
Enter Chrome, hot biker guy, you know the bad boy type, well he wants Star. But as true in the biker world, he has baggage too and it takes Star to walk in on him having his d**k in someone else’s mouth for Chrome to stake his claim.
“Star open the f**king door. We need to talk. I dint mean for you to see that. I didn’t want to like you, but I do. I use them.” I don’t want to leave you tonight. I can’t let you push me away.”
“I don’t care, Star. I don’t f*king care about any of it. I want to kill him, because he hurt you. If you anyone ever touched Scarlett, I would kill them. I would fucking kill them.”
“Don’t be shy baby. You are beautiful. I just want to take in every inch of you. Commit it to memory since I will be gone for a couple of days. F**k Star. God Damn it. You fell so f**king good.”
Uggg and the cause of most of Star issues is Blue. I hated him ever since Hers. He is an animal and I call him the DEVIL. If you saw how I nearly jumped into my Kindle and kicked some Blue a** you would probably have joined me.
"Don’t you f**king walk away from me Princess. I told you princess. You will always be mine. Stop fighting me, I have waited a long time for our family to be together.”
I loved the ending of this book! It was such an emotional read but the end result was worth all my ups and downs!
