She makes him feel like more than a wounded vet suffering from years of continuous combat. She offers him a purpose and a future. She challenges him, encourages him, and refuses to let his weaknesses dictate his actions. However, despite her determined spirit, she faces a threat of her own that is more dangerous than she realizes. Jack is determined to protect her, but as their relationship ignites and heats up, then deepens, he fears he may only be putting her in more danger and wonders if he is capable of keeping her from harm.

A little slow but amazing character development. A wonderful story line.
