Now, for the first time, you can get all four of the horrifying and hilarious Andrew Mayhem novels together for one low price!
GRAVEROBBERS WANTED (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY), in which Andrew and his best friend Roger accept $20,000 to retrieve a key...a key buried with a body in a shallow grave. But when the guy in the grave turns out to still be alive, things get just a bit more complicated.
SINGLE WHITE PSYCHOPATH SEEKS SAME, in which Andrew is forced to pose as a serial killer known as The Headhunter. He must infiltrate a group of maniacs who’ve gathered in an isolated Alaskan mansion for a weekend of murderous games. Can he free the potential victims in time, or will he be forced to participate in their demise?
CASKET FOR SALE (ONLY USED ONCE), in which Andrew is just taking a relaxing camping trip with his friends and family. No shortcuts. The gas tank is full. The sinister warning of the crazy old man is taken seriously. Unfortunately, when you’re Andrew Mayhem, you just can’t help being attacked by a group of savage killers bent on inflicting ghastly torture and bringing horrific death...
LOST HOMICIDAL MANIAC (ANSWERS TO "SHIRLEY"), in which Andrew's past comes back to haunt him in a big ugly way, and he finds himself handcuffed to a beautiful woman who may or may not be a psycho killer.
“Strand performs an incredible balancing act between humor and horror. Belly laughs are followed by stomach-churning terror, frequently on the same page.” –Cemetery Dance
Bram Stoker Award-winning author of a bunch of demented books, including PRESSURE, DWELLER, CLOWNS VS. SPIDERS, AUTUMN BLEEDS INTO WINTER, MY PRETTIES, the official novelization of ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES, and lots of others!
I have read and savored each and every one of the Andrew Mayhem stories.
How much did I like them? I wrote the foreword for the book! Seriously, wonderful and warped and witty and I can probably think of a million more words of praise but I suspect you get the idea.
Strand manages to make me laugh and cringe and shiver with these books and sometimes on the same bloody page.
I cannot recommend The Andrew Mayhem Collection enough.
This book is SO able to keep my interest! I had previously read the first book and liked it-even though it was a little scary. The 3rd and 4th books were not only full of action, but had a few parts in there that were really funny, which is kind of odd for this type of book. I liked the book so much that I made a list of all of the other books this author has written for my future reading! I hope that they are just as good as this book was. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book!
Typical Jeff Strand fare which is a combination of horror, adventure and humor. And by typical I mean outstanding writing and editing. Each of these four books is filled with evil psychos, mishaps, death and dismemberment, with witty dialog thrown in. It’s no accident that these four books are grouped together. The books are presented in chronological order with each making references to events in the previous book.
I completed the four books in less than a week. Great reads with great humor. Loved the characters as well as the story lines. Very much recommended if you love suspenseful stories but a lot of funny lines weaved throughout.
This author has twisted, demented & disturbing thoughts that he has put into print. I LOVE IT. I had a great deal on the bundle of Mayhem books & I’m so glad I bought them. This was a great read. Don’t take my word for it...buy it & see for yourself.
my first literary hero was Valentine Michael Smith, then three was Odd Thomas. Andrew Mayhem has successfully been added to list of elite individuals that satisfy every aspect of my literary ideals. I take my hat off to Jeff Strand and bow as I thank him for such an adventure.
