Some attitudes, sneaking around and deception, but not praised and turned out all right in the end.
Dad said "thank God", but not sure if he really was thanking God. Perseverance to go after what you want, but a lesson in obsession and not letting disappointment rule.

Better than average. Very realistic story, just not the best I've ever read.
