The best thing about this book is probably Legato's backstory which was really brief and came at the end. The usual problem of it being difficult to tell what is really going on is still present, especially in the Livio/Elendra fights. At least the AI Plants with the Earth forces actually talk about what they are trying to do with Knives.

The important things stated in this volume was I think Legato’s backstory which was very brief but perfectly in accordance with his present self and his unbreakable loyalty to Knives.

I’m still trying to figure out the importance of Chronica’s character and her role in the current following of this conclusion.

However as always I think Vash’s words are truthful and hold so much meaning:

« No! How little we knew! And why… we conveniently forget that fact! You’re ignorant, and yet you arrogantly pull the trigger. »

It’s also pretty interesting to highlight the differences of the bond both Knives and Vash share in the manga and in the new Stampede adaptation. While I feel like in Trimax, they’re both two faces of the same coin in Tristamp it feels sightly different, like Knives had a uter purpose which was to create a new world where we could stargaze with his brother again. To properly explain it I feel like Knives character in Trimax is fill with hatred and anger while Knives in the Tristamp adaptation irradiates more melancholy in a way.

Knives hace un despliegue completo de poder como gatillazo de salida y entierra tanto a los habitantes del planeta como a los recién llegados de la Tierra en un absoluto caos. Es Vash quien deberá hacerle frente y redirigir el destino a su eterno objetivo: la paz.
Este tomo es claramente el inicio del fin. Cada uno de los personajes ha tomado posición para combatir sus propias luchas desde deben. Además, por fin vemos a Knives y Vash enfrentarse como se lleva esperando en los últimos quince volúmenes. Nightow cumple con lo prometido.
El último capítulo del tomo es sin duda el más desgarrador. La historia de Legato es humillante, triste y dolorosa a partes iguales. Le da una razón de ser más allá de lo que uno podría imaginarse, aunque tampoco es que le hiciera falta. Podría haber estado obsesionado con Knives porque sí y ya, pero bueno, se aprecia la dedicación al personaje. Yo, igualmente, lo he pasado fatal por él.

Ya había un tomo que se llama The Gunslinger, pero tiene más sentido en este.
Vash ha perdido casi todo el rubio, y eso significa que es prácticamente un humano normal, un pistolero normal. Me encanta, es una jugada parecida a la de Dragon Ball pero está invertida. Goku entra al estado de Super Saiyan y su pelo se pone rubio, y aquí, al contrario, Vash va cogiendo cada vez más el tono negro a medida que se apagan sus poderes.
De nuevo entra en juego el señor Todd Mcfarlane y su SPAWN, o su sistema mágico en el que un contador te va avisando de que el juego se está acabando.
Me gusta ver esas similitudes. Uno acaba reuniendo conocimientos cuando ha leído tantos cómics. Una pena que no me sirca para nada más que para escribir reseñas.

This is just peak. Vash and Knives are such a great protagonist and antagonist. Legatos backstory was brief but cool to see. This build up is so good and I’m interested in seeing how the Plants on the ship plays out in the conclusion of the story. Also love Livios redemption arc. Miss you Nicholas

The beginning was a bit boring, but it began to pick up. More and more things keep happening that lead me to believe Vash may not be standing when the series ends! *sniff sniff* It makes me sad

And Legato's little past blurb at the end of this volume also made me sad....
