This book is a must-have on any psychotherapist's book shelf. It shows how to address the most common resistances in therapy, starting with the most mundane issues such as the initial phone call and problems in the initial session. With true to life examples, Strean shows how to understand resistances and how to respond to them in a gentle, understanding, and humane fashion. No matter what theoretical perspective you come from, this book will enhance your effectiveness enormously. Co-Creating Change: Effective Dynamic Therapy Techniques
