My Review: Munchkin has really been enjoying these Rescue Bots books. They are perfect for kids beginning to read. They always feature 4 more difficult words that they give at the beginning of the book for the readers to look for throughout. Boulder is one of Munchkin's favorite characters of the show and this book made him laugh with the antics of having a pet lion. We really enjoyed it and have read it again several times, I have even found him reading it on his own a few times.

Based on the Rescue Bots tv show. An introduction to Boulder the Construction-Bot.
A level 1 easy reader. A silly story with simple sentences. Good for young readers who like the Rescue Bots.

I read this outloud to my special needs teenage son who normally likes anything to have to do with vehicles. We have never read any of the other Transformers books we were lost in this one. Didn't know what the characters were-are; so was lost through the story. and the story itself we were lost someone wanted a pet and in the end got a plant.

This early reader series is directed at kids who already know and enjoy the Rescuebots, or at least the Transformers. My six year old son went through a Rescuebots craze AND he loved construction equipment so he was a natural to enjoy this early reader book. It rehashed the plot from the episode where Boulder 'adopts' a pet from the local zoo, having heard about adopting from an animal shelter.
