Racial slurs. Bloody violence. A mission set all before page 40. These books are not for the weak at heart. Not the violence. There is plenty. Not the sex. There is very little. It's the non pc aspect. This, I'm sure. would not of been published in this day and age. There are 3 white and 3 black members of the Killsquad, so the slurs are at least pretty equally thrown.

This mission has the team going to the heart of Africa. There is a Fourth Reich growing. It's plan is to gas South Africa to manipulate their plan to rule over all of Africa. The team hooks up with a group of Israelis and West German Nazi hunters to prove that Three Reich's and you're out.

Definitely another book that came out of the overly macho 80's. The books main character is called The Hangman, lol. First name: The, last name: Hangman. Keep it simple I guess.
It would be hard for any comic fan to read this and not immediately think of the suicide squad. The set up is basically the same. There is even a mention of how the navy used Mob enforcement during WWII, just like in the Movie! Where I think this book has one over on the Suicide Squad though is that the members of the Killsquad are flat out terrible human beings. You can only take that so far in a comic, or even an R rated film, but in a book, all bets are off. These guys are full on killers and rapists. Basically all of them hates anyone who isn't the same skin tone as them. While I'm definitely NOT encouraging that kind of behavior, or endorsing it, I have to admit it does make for some good shot em up style action.
This book is DEFINITELY written for people who grew up in the 80's.
