This interconnected series is excellent! Each book centers on one couple in Seaside. Woven throughout each book is a family feud with a mystery that takes greater form in each subsequent book. In the first book, the feud and mystery are mere shadows. By the time the fourth book rolls around, the feud and mystery are their own entity with their own story. Not to say that the mystery takes dominance above the story of Mia and Bodhi in Raven and Ice, because it doesn’t—Mia and Bodhi’s story is complete and very much front and center—but the mystery does take its own shape and finally resolves in that book.
Each couple is different, but oh so perfect. Chloe and Kip; Brynn and Hayden; Grace and Reid; Mia and Bodhi: 4 completely different couples who capture the reader’s attention right away. The authors masterfully present each couples’ story with heart and soul.
I am not new to the Mindy Michele duo, so I can honestly say that each new offering seems to outdo the last. But I can also honestly say that with each new offering it’s harder to decide which of their books is my favorite. So I guess I can also honestly say that I love them all!
If you haven’t read the Seaside Pointe series yet, DO IT! Start with book one and read in order as each one builds upon the last. Give in to the beauty that is Seaside Pointe and fall in love with this series!
