Running from a past she can't forget, her plan had been blend in well enough not to be remembered and never stay long enough to let the grass grow. Lonely, but alive, it worked pretty well. Before Italy. When green eyes and a mischievous smile knocked Mackenzie off her feet, she began to remember when life wasn't just about survival. Their easy banter and mutual attraction, however, wasn't enough to override her need for self-preservation. As danger lurks around every corner, can he convince her to trust him before it's too late? Or will she always be running from Shadows and Memories?

I met this wonderful author at a comic con (thank you for being there!) and I am in such awe by how amazing this book is.
Like, you had me at mafia when you pitched it to me, don’t get me wrong. But THIS? The turns, the twists, the big reveals? The absolute love between the main characters? The TENSION???
I literally could not put it down.
I loved how the nightmares played a really big role. It’s such a good way to reveal without revealing!
If you’re a reader wondering if you should pick up this book, I’m here to tell you that you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO.
And to the author, I really hope you do continue to write and I am so excited to get your Rock and Roll series next! You’re amazing!
