Danny Orlis series is a mainstream Christian teenager book series of 20th century. There are a lot of books in the series (written in 1954-1989) to keep your YA readers satisfied for long (like 70+ books!). Anekopress is making Danny Orlis adventure series into ebooks and audiobooks right now (2024), so the opportunity to use them in our families won't cost a thing.
What I didn't like - this book had too many references to crushes, joking about relationship and mention of "she will have many boyfriends later". But may be that was only in this book. Still - mainstream Christian who goes to public school could be blessed by this, since there are Christian values.
