Finally, we are shown the abilities of a Merit Hunter with additional abilities, and those abilities are AMAZING, plus the first Tri-herald (believe me, read the book, it would be better, plus this will help the Author immensely), we on a roll here, exciting times are coming.

Starting Book 5 now, while trying to give a review for Book 4, I was trying to remember what happened before, Mr. Renfroe has provided in every book, a "What has gone before", and thinking of those, for me the story is not straight forward I seem to have said it on one of my reviews, that is why there is always a feeling of something missing or this does not fit, but with book 4, those "somethings" are being filled one by one, I never imagined a Tri-Herald though, that was surprising, multiple profession like Thief/Mage/Warlock, this is the normal practice, but having Bane/Orcus/Tiamat as your Deities......imagine what will happen to AD&D, if my Level 10 Paladin of Sune/Tymora/Lathander......it just keeps getting better and better.

The author warns us that it's getting heavier, and it does. Not that this has been a rainbows and unicorns ride from the beginning, but shit is spiralling more and more out of control as things go on.

Ty has hard choices to make, and he makes them. As much as not being a world-devouring evil menace is a good thing, I do find it leans on "the healing power of friendship!" a bit much. That's not a crippling flaw, as there are alot of explorations about how one stays "mostly sane" while literal gods are trying to kill you and your loved ones.

There is only one solution to that, and Ty recognizes and works toward it. Actual Resonance hasn't happened as of the end of this, so there is room for a lot of shenanigans in the next book. It's getting a bit tough to follow all the moving parts (for the MC as well) but it looks like there is apath to victory, or at least survival.

Book four

I'm getting caught up.
There seems to be a lot going on, so I can see why this story has stretched into a second series.
So far every book has had plenty of action, intrigue, and treasure.
Still a rather low level, but the MC is definitely getting stronger.
I look forward to more.
Mistakes will be listed on Goodreads.
Book six is being written on Royalroad.

Good series

This series is a good hold out while waiting for my other books to update. Or so I thought initially. Truth be told it has grown on me. The main character is not among my favorite in this genre, however the supporting cast and the story truly makes up for it. I look forward to the next book.

Awesome LitRPG

Book 4 is literally an awesome addition to this series. The story is flowing. Well, the adventures are good, Ty continues to grow in power and notoriety. We are starting to learn more about the Monster. God’s true plans. Looking forward to reading the next book and seeing how Ty will fare at the scion competition.

Great follow up to the first three.

This was another great installment in the series. It is refreshing to have an MC who gets stronger and does impressive things without going full mary sue

Good book

So many things going on. I love the whole storyline. The various points of view don't bother me a bit, it just adds color and definition to people who are important to Ty. I like the little add-ons at the end of the book too. Can't wait for the next one!

Good times for all.

I enjoyed the reading and adventure. I am excited to see where the story goes next and what new characters show up. I am also wondering what happens with some of the key ones.

interesting

A bit darker than the previous books, and some deaths and other stuff that happened that are dark. The story is full of positives that nicely counter balance.

Love this whole series.

legitimately. I love the whole series. As a matter of fact, I wish I could read the next 5 books right now. That's how good these books are.
