I and many Marata Eros fans have been waiting patiently for this baby to come! And it's here finally! And I freakin loved it! But Oh Boy! is it going to be controversial!

BROLACH starts where CONSTANTINE (book #2 in the Siren series) left off; with the sexy demon/angel Brolach protecting Ruby from those who would take her to be a breeder for their dwindling race, and facing off with Constantine. From there it's out of the frypan and into the fire for the pair!

We get an insight into Heaven & Hell and how the Leaders of both work in mysterious ways; Brolach & Ruby discover things about themselves that will effect their futures; and we get some very interesting hardcore sex scenes that require a cold shower afterwards! The author's take on Angels is intriguing to say the least, with their awesome defense weapons and special abilities.

Ms. Eros sure knows how to write evil, truly hateful bad guys who will do what ever is necessary to get what they want!! And her twisted sense of humour when it comes to revenge is cunningly brilliant! It's awesome and a rooted way! Lol

I loved Brolach and every single one of Ms. Eros' dark erotic novellas, but it isn't going to be for everyone. It is Dark Erotica, so take that into consideration before you buy it because it is confronting and has a "Wow factor".
In saying that, I can't wait for the next installment! Gimme more!!!!

My Rant: I was so fortunate to be allowed to read the ARC of Brolach which is the first book in the Demon Breeders Series and I completely Loved it. I fell in love with this series a while back when I started Reepers the first book in the Druid Breeders series. I am in pressed that the series has continued in different installments which keeps Breeder fans like me anxious for the next release. Although we get a glimpses of some of the past characters were are introduced to new characters that are scorching hot.

This book completely picks up were the Siren Breeders leave off and with a rush of excitement I am flying through the pages. Rubie and Brolach escape from the other demon breeders and Brolach yearns to protect her with everything that is within him and through that over possessiveness Brolach nature is truly revealed. Not only is our sexy warrior a demon breeders he is also and angelic one. Born of mix blood he is a force to be recon with. But when Rubie is kidnapped from him he is set out on a path to destroy the ones that made him feel helpless in protecting Rubie.

Lucas is so wicked, you love to hate him and hate to love him at the same time. He kind of reminds me of how Constantine was back in the Druid Breeders series. Lucas is twisted and he thrives on the torment of others. But what goes around comes around and he is left to worship the one thing he has so desperately tried to take advantage of and that is a breeder(walker).

This story has so many twist and turns I am not sure where I am going to end up. Marata has me jutting through the page because the action is never ending. While I was reading this story I had to know what was happening next so I took no breaks and when I got to the end I almost whimpered because I feel like broach has been ripped from me. I am in awe, I can't believe I finished the book so quickly and the ending completely floored me. Marata please don't leave me like this. I need to know. I am completely in love with Brolach and I am anxious to see if he is going to make it.

This book was amazing. The characters are super hot especially with all the alpha males running around in this series. When i say hot I mean there are super hot demons and angels. I just can't decided who's side I am rooting for. But I can says this, I don't have a problem with switching from the bad side to get a taste of Broach and moving to the good side just to get close to Breadan.

My Recommendation
I rated this book 5 out of 5 Purple Rant Hearts and would recommend this to anyone that loves hot alphas who are gut ripping series about their mating especially when they find the breeder that was meant for them.

Hell Yeah now that was a story!!!

What a giant tangle of twists and turns I love how this series always keeps you guessing and the twists are refreshing, original and cleverly thought out.

I was really looking forward to this instalment as I'm a huge fan of Brolach, I find him incredibly interesting and sexy as hell/heaven. I definitely need more of him. I love finding about more of his origins which different bloods he has running through his veins and which powers he has inherited. Interesting also how different powers emerge after being in the presence of other species.

I love Ruby she so vulnerable yet she has some fire. I want more of her and Brolach together. I love his protective instincts that come out for her and her reciprocated feelings and how he makes her feel safe (yeah the romantic coming out of me). And I want to see her kick her fathers Ass!!!!

A little of Constantine goes along way. Looking forward to more of him in the future.

Lucas is mighty and scary in this instalment and I rather enjoyed his enslavement.

The Hot and sexy sexy scenes are seriously naughty. Enough to get you going and wanting more.

How delicious are these mixed breeds the way their powers manifest, the way their mixed blood wars with each each lineage that they carry. Demon versus Angel Both warriors part good part bad would be profound, and I enjoy every minute of it.

The addition of the Angel warriors is really exciting Braedan and Nolen are going to be interesting characters I look forward to reading more on these two. This is turn opens up the spin off of the Walkers series the female Angels in which we meet Heather – Virginal but kinda slutty (Yeah well I think she is) and incredibly determined to met out Lucas' punishment. The twist here did not see that coming, WOO HOO!!!! And Heathers connection to Braedan is really riveting, I cant wait to see what becomes of this, that eye jolt thing holy hell!!!!! I cant wait.

I loved this line and it bears mentioning. “Where great sacrifice had been made, great consequence was the result”.

All up a great great great instalment to the series and where its left off you know there will be more, hopefully alot more of Brolach my new huge Crush!!!!

Oh how I love the tables that turn. Marata you brilliant woman!!!!! Your mind is my best hangout!!!! I really love your worlds. Brolach is my favourite so far and I cant wait to see what becomes of him.

Walking on the dark side here, the very dark and edgy side that is signature Marata Eros! Brolach is a twisted and jagged erotic look into the world of demons. Did I mention chaotic? Filled with a huge cast of characters for such a short read, there is no lack of diverse personalities, no lack of evil and lack of uniquely dark moments.

Ms. Eros pushes the edge of envelope at warp speed, boldly going where few will tread. Are you looking for something different? Looking for a dark erotic tale to peruse from the safety of your reading chair? Brolach has demons and angels and a hint of demonic life that is too intense for the timid, but definitely original and thought-provoking! Kind of makes you want to be sure to walk on the light side of the street, just in case.

I had a difficult time reading this book for several reasons. First, the beginning was very confusing. I understand that the author tried to give us a scene to grab our attention. But, I just felt confused. So, I read on to get more into the story. Here, I was met with so many editing errors. Then, more confusion. As I finally finished the book, I was left with a feeling of "glad that's over."
I then turned to the other reviews to see why there was a 4-star rating. I love a good smut read, but by all that is holy, give me a good story and plot to go with it, or I am finished. Some editing and fine tuning might help.

It really wanted to like this. It looked really good. I’ve been dying to read it, but it starts off with a very vulgar rape, and they are not shy about it. As somebody who has lived through that, it’s very triggering to see right off the rip. So just be warned that rape is front and center. I unfortunately dnf

I read to the 54% mark of this book and couldn't finish it. I found it to be lacking in anything interesting, dialogue, characters and plot. You might like it but I didn't.

Shortest "book" I've ever read.
Equivalent to a chapter by other authors standards.
Ends on a cliffhanger. To get you to want to read more. Not worth it.
