Twisted Flicks

by Jessica Zafra

A collection of Zafra's film reviews. Her critiques have the kind of bite that engages the readers with the sneer and snarl of an avid movie fan. Her readers and subjects, young and old, will be outraged and amused at her vicious takes on award-winning, top-grossing films.

Most of the movies mentioned were unfamiliar to me, so I went in with zero expectations... only to end up completely engrossed and finishing the book in one sitting. It somehow also gave me this weird, urgent itch to watch The One (2001) as soon as possible.
