I've been writing as long as I can remember and all of my stories always held a thread of romance (even when I was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). I love creating unique characters, love giving them happy endings and I even love the voices in my head. There's no other job I would rather be doing. In September 2002, when I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I hope to continue living the dream until I keel over of old age on my keyboard.
I was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. I also spent three years living and working in Japan, during which time I took the chance to travel around Asia. I’m back in New Zealand now, but I’m always plotting new trips. If you’d like to see some of my travel snapshots, have a look at the Travel Diary page (updated every month).
So far, I've worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but I call it grist for the writer's mill.
Twins Julian and Roman have made a special present for newborn Naya.
"...she really smells like a girl right now.” Sascha’s shoulders shook at the mournful statement. Tightening her stomach to hold in the laugh, she said, “She is a girl, you know. Will you still play with her?”

OMG so much cute in so few pages! I actually think it's kind of unfair to all other authors - how is anyone supposed to compete?
I LOVE Tammy & Nate's boys and seeing Roman & Julian meeting Naya is just beyond adorable!
Nalini Singh will always be my favourite author & I love her even more for these extra snippets she gives us into the characters lives beyond their books :-)
I loved this little story as I adore Nathan and Tammy's boys, Roman & Julian......Once Naya has grown a little they will have a playmate who without doubt will get into just as many scrapes as they do.......I did wonder if perhaps one of the boys (or maybe even both!) end up being Naya's mate :)
Free short story from the Newsletter Collection. This one has twin psy-changeling leopard cubs Roman and Julian visiting Lucas & Sascha’s new baby. So sweet your teeth will fall out 😂
No idea when I become this week for small children shenanigans and mushy Pack goodness, but here we are. Should have guessed that Roman and Julian would be Naya’s most important visitors, but I guess I was still recovering from Dorian wanting to be the first one to hold her when she was born and turning into (even more of) an angry cat when everyone kept stealing her from him lololol. Anyway, I love how indulgent the adults are with these kids and completely go along with their games and mischief. It’s pretty obvious how this series is making “let children be children” one of its core themes and it’s one of the things I really appreciate about it.
For some reason, I had this thought in the back of my mind that Naya's visitors might include Nikita given the way things have been going in the city. It didn't take long to realize it was the twins however. It's going to be highly amusing seeing what pranks these two pull Naya into as they grow up... and if either of them get to keep her indefinitely in the event the series actually runs that far into the future. That would certainly be something, though also possible to cause some jealousy as well. If nothing else, she's got two built in "big brothers" from the pack so far. Fitting given their obvious love of Sascha, even when she was still "Silent."

One of the short vignettes that Singh writes for free for her fans about the lighter side of her characters in the Psy Changeling series. This short story follows KISS OF SNOW and has a spoiler from that novel. This is the story of the first visit of the twins Roman and Julian's visit to Sascha and Lucas' daughter Naya. The story is sweet and I love to see the characters interacting in a peaceful and loving way.
This put such a smile on my face. Roman and Julian have always held a special place in my heart, ever since they first interacted with Sascha in Slave to Sensation. It was adorable to see them interact with Naya now.
I love Rome and Jules and I already love Naya so freaking much! I hope Nalini gives us lots of glimpses into the future. I want books for all the kids! +.+
