Bought this book before starting my Corrections career. I have no background in this area, and am starting off as a “fresh” victim ha ha

This opened my eyes, and really helped me grasp what I’m in for. Shedding light on the do’s and dont’s of jail/prison.

Very Rewarding

As a new corrections officer, this book was very informative and provided 44 keys that I can use each and every day. I was weary at first; however, the authors approach and writing style drew me in even further and bolstered my knowledge base of what to expect in my new field. I would strongly recommend reading this book and passing it on to your fellow corrections officers.

I'm a correctional officer here in California and ill be honest this book is spot on about correctional offiers

Ill be honest in my 22 years (13 as a correctional nurse and 9 as a correctional officer) I have either done or experienced everything in this book. My son is trying to become an correctional officer and I will have him read this book.
