Natalie is an overworked and underpaid college student trying to keep up her GPA while working almost full-time just to pay her tuition. She's a cashier at a store she hates, her grades are slipping, and if she doesn't do something drastic she will lose her grants and scholarships, meaning she'll get kicked out of school.
Just when things can't get worse, her friend Tara informs her of a way she can quit her job and have all of her bills paid off, and that is to become a sugar baby. It's in this proposition that she meets Roman Parker, a reclusive software millionaire who tests her boundaries both in and out of the bedroom.
Becoming a sugar baby is the only option for Natalie, even if her Christian upbringing says not to do it. If Natalie takes the job, everything will fall into place and she can be saved. All she has to do is agree to be sugared.
This is a billionaire romance series, as well as a new adult college romance. These are previously published serials from The Stipulation, which was changed to The Billionaire's Proposal a few years ago. Please enjoy my billionaire romance box set!
M.L. Young is an author currently living in Illinois. She is the author of The Stipulation Serials. To find out more and to stay up to date on all things related to the books, follow her on Twitter and Facebook.
Natalie is working her butt off just trying to pay her required student loans and studying to keep her GPA at 3.7. Her roommate tells her that she should become a sugarbaby to a millionaire. On her first date she hit the jackpot when she meets Roman. The two continue to date until circumstances happen. Can the two work this out?
I thought this book and the plot were a bit amateurish. It was overly predictable and nothing was left to the imagination. In the beginning the author kept writing that Roman was a millionaire. It became too repetitive.
There was not real plot. Boy meets girl they fall in love the end! I would suggest just a bit more planning and plotting out of the next book. Everyone loves a happy ending in a love story but make us work our imaginations a bit first.
I didn't get on with these books at all, the first volume was ok and did leave me wanting to read the next instalments but I found myself waiting for something gripping to happen and it just never came. I also didn't like the way the books were written.
The characters..... Gah! They had no depth and Natalie just seemed so materialistic and annoying! You don't find out anything about Roman, like at all, not even how old he is.
I wanted to like them, I really did, but overall just not for me.
The cover on my kindle says this is called The Billionaire's Proposal but inside the book it's called The Stipulation. Cal me confused. The name on the cover makes more sense to the story. I struggled to accept the lead character who was a deeply religious virgin who firmly believed that every man in the world was lusting after her. She then jumped at the chance of becoming a high class escort and gave up her virginity on her very first night in the job. I got bored half way through, leaving this book to read another. When I came back to it I skimmed and jumped through the last 20%. The biggest trauma in the story was when the couple stayed with her religious parents for a week without telling them that he was a billionaire who was a bit older than her, and that they met when he paid her school fees in payment for being with him. But when they finally get engaged then married we don't even get to hear that conversation. If you are happy reading sex scenes for the sake of it, and the internal monologues of someone who in one breath is a dithering naive person, but in the next is describing her own porcelain skin or apple bottom and voluptuous figure, then you might enjoy this story more than I did.
This book was just sad ......it felt as if written by someone no older than maybe 20 or 21 ... someone who hasn't experienced "real life" nor any of its stresses and realities...... dialog is stilted, the relationship is unrealistic, ..... The plot .......sugar babies and sugar daddy's ........ When a 20 something in college thinks the best thing that could happen in her life is to be picked by a sugar daddy, then taken care of and not having to work for a living, true i am sure that is a dream of many college aged girls ........Not a lot of drawn out or repeated stuff ... so it moved along quickly........ dialogue example: She asks him (while in Aspen) how many women he's been with and his response is, "Eighteen. How many men have you been with? " hello...she gave him her virginity at their first meeting, so why would he ask her how many men she'd been with?.....if he is 10 yrs older than her and sexually active he would have noticed breaking thru a Hymen??? (Just this readers opinion ).....Don't most realize there is a bit of blood on a first time experience into sex ....again ...Could have been a good story if it had some character and maybe some story line development. Very unknown life experiences in writing.............
This is one of the worst books I have ever read and I really don't know why I bothered finishing it it is written more like a report than a story and in a very child like manner when describing the girls feelings or indeed the few sexual encounters and how their body parts are described. There is no depth to the characters - Roman the lead alpha male we never learn anything about. Perhaps if I was a teenage girl with no experience and this was my first romance novel it might be passable but as it is advertised on FB as eluding to being themed 50SOG. I think anyone having read E L JAMES or SYlvia Day will agree that this is pathetic.
Wish I could it was a great read but No it just ok read. My pet hate is that the first three quarter of the series is slow and then the end is rushed. I wasn’t a fan of Natalie’s friend Tara pushing her to do thing she didn’t want to do. Hopefully if you read this review you might I hope you enjoy it more than me 3⭐️
Lack of money and a dead end part time job was just the encouragement this student needed to enter the world of the sugar babies. Rich men with money to spend on ladies, no strings.Has this elusive bad boy being caught by this pretty student. Vibrant characters.
Natalie becomes a sugar baby to wealthy guy to pay her way through college. She finds herself falling in love with him but he is scared of getting emotionally involved. Eventually he realize that he needs her and loves her too.
If you are looking for an ordinary book then read this one, no plot twist no nothing. It really was the same level from beginning to end and nothing developed. I’m not a harsh person but I would recommend the writer think a bit more about their plot for the next one.
A really enjoyable story. I couldn’t put it down. A good story line with a few twists and turns along the way. Easy to read. A few steamy sex sessions in there as well.
This was a fairly good read as I considered it to be a short story with it being a Box Set. Not alot of drawn out or repeated stuff it moved along quickly. Good Price for the Box Set 👍
I enjoyed this boxset and characters and the story wasn’t seedy with the sugar baby element. I did think Robert may show his face to cause issues but glad he didn’t. This is a nice love story with a HEA and with no major drama or trauma and no hidden baddies trying to tear them apart
This is probably the worst book (series of) I’ve ever read. The story is bad, the characters are worse, the choice of “sexy” language is laughable. I actually hate kindle for recommending this to me. So so so so bad. Do not waste your time.
Not as good as I thought it would be, got this as I thought it was a series of short stories instead it was just one story, and far too much explicit sex,. no objection to some sex in stories, but hardly need it so explicit, sorry.
I enjoyed reading this series. The authors kept each series interested and wanting the reader to learn more about the characters and the plot. Happiness does come to those who wait. Sometime you have to get bad lemons before you get a good glass of lemonade
I couldn't put this book down. So much live and happiness. The main charactors where friends aswell as lovers. A good twist on sugar daddies with sugar babies
Great story of a young girl struggling to stay in school, finances running low she tries something a friend recommends, little does she know how this will change her life.
3stars and honestly that's generous. I hate to give a review below 4 stars but I can't help myself in this case. The plot line is pretty common, pretty young girl with tons of college debt has that one friend who introduces her to the world of sin as an escort. Lucky for little miss innocent, she meets her rich, man of her dreams on her first time out and continues to date him.
Okay I have to stop right there, the whole thing is predictable, there is a ton of repetition, in the beginning it was the word millionaire, because we need it drilled into our heads that these guys were rich, okay got it can we move on please. The next overuse of words would be sugar baby and sugar daddy. It's fine considering that's what their titles are but it was almost childish the number of times it was repeated, like my 7yr old trying to get his brothers attention by repeating the same thing over and over and over. The sex scenes are awkward at best. The Stipulation was your typical boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love story but with so much filler that I honestly had to force myself to read it. Had I not been given this set for an honest review I wouldn't have finished it. I knew from book one how it would end, this story could have easily been told in one book. I wanted to like this book, the first book did give me hope, I wanted to read the 2nd part but once there it fell flat, I had no drive to finish this series other than to get it over and done with.
I received this ARC thru Netgalley for my honest review.
Natalie is a overworked and underpaid college student. She has a job she hates and is struggling to keep her grades up for her GPA. When her friend Tara suggests she become a sugar baby she really has no other choice if she wants to stay afloat and in doing so she meets Roman. I loved seeing the relationship grow and the chemistry between the two. I was so mad at Roman when he left Natalie but was cheering when he finally comes back. I really liked the characters and the storyline in this series and was sad to see it coming to an end but I am glad they finally get their HEA.
This was my first M.L. Young read but it def won't be my last!!
The Stipulations Box Set is the tale of Natalie and her failure in being an escort girl. Not a 100% failure for in some way she does find a silver lining through the harsh business of escort. Her main job was just to entertain the men and maybe sometimes give pleasure. Nobody told her about her heart getting in the way. The thing I liked about M.L. Young and her Natalie is that no matter how many times she tries to stay away she goes back in. Roman seemed a little distant and quite didn’t see that much about him in the book. When he does show man is he a perfect gentleman. All in all it was a good book and thought it is cut into mini chapters it definitely kept me in suspense to find out what will happen to Natalie.
I don't read a lot of modern romance novels, but I'm looking for new titles for work and I thought to try this. I was a little disappointed. It started off really good. Great idea, good characters, and okay writing. However, with each installment I was getting a little more annoyed. She seems to get even more naive as the volumes progress and with each installment I was a little more surprised at his sudden agreement to things. For someone who didn't want a relationship things go really, really fast.
However, that being said, it is a fun read. You'll breeze through it. Just don't expect another 50 shades.
I received this book via netgalley in exchange for an honest review
I very seldom give 3 stars and I really don't like doing it, but I do have to say that this book left me thinking that there could of been more to the story.
It didn't grab me from the beginning like some books do, and I could put it down.
It just needs more oomph put into it, it needs to be able to grab you right from the start and say you cannot put me down.
