Finished! Another fantastic novel by Eve Newton. Very well written short story, nicely done! Loved the dark twist to this.

Short. Not sweet. But very hot and steamy.
Just the thing when you want a taster, a tease for what's to come. Something to whet your appetite.
I know it's meant to be a 'dip your toe into the pool to test the waters' kind of novella, to see if you like the storyline....but I so wanted it to carry on. Never mind I know Demon Bound the first book in the series is out so im off to read that x
The novella got my engine purring.....now to rev it up a bit x

I really enjoyed Bound. It was very well written and I'm debating on which order is better to read in. In my case I read the prequel after Book 1 and maybe enjoyed it more since this was more like a flashback with more background information, but I already knew the main character. If I had read it first, I still think I would have been enthralled but less invested in Axelle. Hmm... decisions decisions. Anyway read them both then you decide.

I enjoyed this prequel I did read book 1 first, this is a rereleased I do believe, I enjoy the story and the look into the world it sets it up nicely this is a great quick read, and really enjoyed book 1 so far!

This is the prequel to Demon Bound. It’s pretty much the back story of Slade and Trixie and it’s a cute story of how they fell for each other but it did feel rushed which is unfortunate. At least we did get the background story which is nice.

What a good read! Very dark in places, but totally a part of the story. Not really that into short stories, but there was so much going on in this one it completely held my attention and I read it in one sitting. I was pleasantly surprised by the characters in this story. Usually you get too much crammed in or not enough information, but this ratio was spot on. This author is a genius with her words. Another 5 stars for Eve Newton.

What a gripping teaser to what I'm sure is going to develop into a fabulous new series. I was a big fan of the Forever series and this novella was a highly anticipated one for me and it didn't disappoint. Bound has a darkness to it that could evolve in so many different ways. This author sits at the top of her genre for me and I can't wait for the next installment.
