For Blu and Creed Saint-Pierre, love came after they were forced into marriage to bring the werewolf and vampire nations together. Two years later, their nights are wilder and wickeder than ever. Only one thing is missing from their lives, the thing they can never have—a pack of their own. Unable to conceive a child with her vampire husband, Blu’s only hope lies in making a bargain with a faery. But faeries never grant boons without expecting something in return. And the payment may be too great a sacrifice…

Michele has been writing romance, action-adventure and fantasy stories for over twenty years. Her first published novel was DARK RAPTURE.

France, musketeers, vampires and faeries populate her stories. And if she followed the adage 'write what you know', all her stories would have snow in them. Fortunately, she steps beyond her comfort zone and writes about countries she has never visited and of creatures she has never seen.

Michele also writes as Michele Renae, and you can find her erotica, chick lit, and Harlequin Romance titles at your favorite online retailer.

I'm happy that Blu and Creed got the happy ending that they wanted and that they are still happy in love despite been a werewolf and vampire.

After many years of not reading, the first book I bought on my Nook was Her Vampire Husband by Michele Hauf. I fell totally head over heels in love with the werewolf princess Blu and her vampire husband Creed Saint-Pierre. So I was over joyed when I discovered that Ms. Hauf had written a novella continuing their story.

So, almost 2 years later, I got to fall in love with these two characters all over again. In MOONSPUN, We get to see Creed and Blu as they continue to the next stages of their relationship. We get to see just how committed they are for each other and how deeply their loves flows.

And by the way Ms. Hauf ending this novella, I see another story in the future!!! I can’t wait to see what’s next for this delightful couple.

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:

When I saw that Michele was doing a follow-up to Her Vampire Husband to say that I was excited is a bit of an understatement.

In true Michele Hauf fashion, Moonspun is a steamy, heartfelt, captivating tale full of sacrifice and proof positive that love can conquer all.

I would highly recommend this book for all paranormal romance fans, but would especially recommend it if you, like me, are obsessed with Michele's Beautiful Creatures and especially the characters prevalent in Seducing the Vampire, Forever Vampire, Forever Werewolf and Her Vampire Husband...

Once again, Michele Hauf out does herself. Blu and Creed are back. And what a couple they make! Every character in Hauf's Beautiful Creatures-verse is well written and fantastic characters, Blu and Creed are no exception. I won't spoil the story, but I will say that it'll leave you dying for more! For those looking for a good story mixed perfectly with spine tingling eroticisim, this is what you're craving for! This novella is for those that enjoyed Her Vampire Husband, and for those that are a fan of Cravings. If you're not, definitely pick both of this up. You'll be hooked for life!

I felt that some of the sex scenes were more filler than helping to progress the story.

Girl and guy wish to have a child, but because they are werewolf and vampire, they need faery magic in order to do so. They individual each went to a faery for help in making them genetically compatible without the other's knowing. Girl promised their firstborn. Guy promised their second born. The male lead has stepped down as tribe leader to be the head of the group of vampires who rescue vampires taken, tortured, and forced to fight by the werewolves. The day their old neighbor shoots the female lead thinking she is a wolf because of her hair and her wearing a fur coat is the day she goes into labor. The babies were born at exactly the same time because their umbilical cards were strangling each other. This is a work around to the faery's deal, something that one of the faery king helps decide. They name the babies Kam and Kai. However, the faery king says that if the babies ever make a faery fall in love with them, then their literal hearts will be forfeit.

I just wish that the ending was a bit longer. Also, I want to know what happened to their elderly trigger happy neighbor.

I was so excited when scanning through Michelle hauf books and found this a follow on from her vampire husband, yes more blu and creed = one happy me!!

Steamy is one word, lots of sex in this story, it's hot and steamy especially them doing it when she's in wolf form!!!

Apart from the hot and steamy sex, yes was worth mentioning again, we get to see how they have developed as a couple and how much they adore each other. Creed is smouldering yummy as he was in original book but blu has calmed slightly which was nice to see but she's still fiery!

They both desperately want a baby but mixed breed marriage babies don't happen unless they get some magical help, but what are they willing to sacrifice for this help???

It really is a must read if you read her vampire husband, which is at times free on amazon and really recommend you try it if you love paranormal romance.

Jessa's pithy review: sexy & heartfelt. I enjoyed watching Creed and Blu continue their relationship and fight for the next stage of their love. An awesome mix of paranormal and "real" world troubles with a hero and heroine you get to SEE living their HEA.

Best quotes,

Note to self: whack that thing around next time she had it in hand. It could take it, and he preferred it rough."

A really nice follow up to My Vampire Husband. I enjoyed this book and found it a really lovely end to a sweet tale but also open to further story lines. Would recommend but suggest reading the initial book first.

I liked reading more about Blu and Creed. I can understand them wanting a family and glad they could figure out how, but the way was too much like Rhys and Viviane in Seducing the Vampire. Though this has a happier ending. More fluffy. Can't wait to read the story of the kids.
