An untold past can shape someone’s future, but what fate will you decide?
Wedding bells ring, but there’s no celebration. Rooms lay cold and uninviting. A night to remember ends without a Queen and a King who thought he was living the dream.
No one saw it coming. In a moment of love, Pandora flees. The hunger for revenge never really went away. It was always there, lying in wait.
However, Pandora did not expect the one who pulled the strings to be a conniving woman. And this woman has an obsession. She wants to open Pandora up and show her how truly violent someone’s past can be.
And with a past as traumatic as this, it’s as if someone delivered her a poisonous kiss.

This book was as good as the first! Such a fun way to brake you readers by making them choose the ending 😅 the anxiety of making the wrong choice 😂
The fact that Shaina made me love Walkyer amazes me. I think that is why I got so obsessed with book one and just had to continue the story. Also I love when the MMC knows his girl like Walkyer knows Pandora. (This is why I could never forgive Chaol 😂)
An amazing series, you should all read it!
And even tho I love that Walkyer got Pandora this time I’m also really looking forward to reading Reens story. I have a feeling it’s going to be even better!
Wow!! I don’t even have words right now! This book definitely took a dark and emotional turn! However I loved it. I absolutely loved seeing Pandora gain her lost memories although they were very dark and traumatic it helped make sense of her character and allowed her to grow. Now the last few chapters did have me extremely worried to start with. It’s safe to say I did not like the first ending option and was very very relieved to then read the second ending!
I loved this! I devoured it in a day and a half. Pandora’s revenge and character growth are so well done. Walkyer is such a cinnamon roll and I love him. I liked the mystery and the two endings. Ending 2 was my favorite but ending 1 was well done. I used to read choose your own adventure books as a kid so it was really cool to see this in an adult book. Can’t wait to read Pandora x Reen
What perfect endings to the Walkyer X Pandora duology. I loved that there was two options to read but ending 2 is my favourite. Loved seeing Pandora come into her power and role as Queen. I was guessing till the end what Kate's motives were and still can't believe that reason. As much as I loved Walkyer with Pandora, I can't wait to see what the Reen X Pandora story has in store!
5 stars This was really… entertaining, I loved this, and am upset this it the end of walkyer x pandora But I don’t know who I am rooting for yet 😬 Also the endings were really hard to choose, if it ended the first way, I would have had bawled my eyes out. I agree with ending 2. A longer… better, review will be coming soon Thank you so much Shaina! (Sorry for the late review)
Walkyer is such a sweet guy and I love how his love for Pandora is unconditional and he gets her like no one else. But damn, hurt the people he loves and he will absolutely wreck you with his water magic. And Pandora, I adore how strong she is, especially now that she has awakened, but at the same time she is so fragile - like thinning ice. And like Walkyer said, she is a walking read flag for sure. I feel so bad for her how some of her memories got like erased/hidden from her and she had to live through them again. Like the memories about Desmond? Ouch, that hurt, so much. I can imagine how someone becomes fragile with her upbringing and past. Having to kill the one you love for example? Yeah, that will ruin you. But with Walkyer everthing is better and he gives her stability. I loved the banter through this book between Pandora and Reen and how Pandora slowly turned into her own self instead of images of others. But omg, the plottwist of her mom being alive and working with Kate and wanting revenge? That hit home hard, I did not see that coming for sure. But then the reader had the choice to choose the ending, which was amazing. It was so cool that I could choose the butterfly effect and what happens next! Of course I had to read both options. The first ending absolutely broke me - he tried to protect her and died, and everything just fell apart by Pandora turning crazy. But the second one, where he believed in her powers and strength? Everything turned out so much better! I'm sticking with that ending in my heart, pretending that's the real one. I am so excited to read the next three books about Reen! I loved the little easter eggs that are already in this book and can't wait to figure them out. And Reen deserves the best, because he sacrificed everything in this Act, all for Walkyer. So let's see how it turns out!
4.5 ⭐️Such an interesting story! I love the magic system and the alternate endings were cool! I feel like both work. I'm super excited for Reen's story and how the whole butterfly effect will work! I really enjoy the conversational style of Shaina writing and the unfiltered POVs in the inner monologues! The spice was niiiice but I feel like it will be even hotter with Reen! What can I say I love a bad boy
