Pantera: Grail Quest

Rate this book
Book two of the "Pantera" trilogy of novellas, "Grail Quest" follows the continuing adventures of the son of “The Man They Call Jesus.”

The Pantera family migrated to the northern lands of the Roman Empire after the untimely death of their patriarch, Yeshu Pantera, in First Century AD. Once there, the family prospered over the next thousand years thanks to their new found wealth and long life, but the conspiracy of a powerful and corrupt Catholic church drew them into the crusades against their will in the early second millenia.

Charged with the task of guarding the secrets of an Essene life extending healing potion, John Pantera must protect the world from what some view as the Holy Grail. A new peril now threatens the Pantera family and John heads out to recover ancient Roman and Aramaic documents lost to the Templar on one of the crusades. Some fear these same documents reveal facts that might change the course of Western Civilization and Christianity if they fall into the wrong hands. Against all odds, John engages friend and foe on his journey through France, Greece and the high seas of the Mediterranean to find and protect his family’s secrets.
