I'm giving this one 5 stars because of the online course that goes with it: The Oracle Course: The essential course in intuition and vision. The book is really Jennifer's personal story of being an "oracle", which she defines as one who consciously is on a path of remembering their true nature. So we all can be oracles, whether or not we're born remembering as she was.

Why it has a beloved place on my shelf is that Jennifer is still, by far, the best teacher of intuition I've ever read or worked with (my second favourite would be Martha Beck's Finding Your Way in a Wild New World, but I've also read lots of Judith Orloff's stuff and Debra Lynn Katz, the latter of which I'm not a big fan). Being able to access my intuition has been one of the best gifts I've ever received, because it's helped me navigate an increasingly confusing and stressful world.

Jennifer remembers past lives, something I used to think was utter nonsense until I read stories like hers. Her memories of how we used to live, with intuition as normal as breathing, gives me the sense that these abilities are there once we begin to remember them and the tools to do it. It's a real world story of magic.

An easy, pleasant read with several of the same platitudes you hear in many New Age books. This is not to say in any way that those messages aren't worth reading again - I've just heard them before. I like that Posada, unlike many well-known intuitives of our time, appears to have lead a perfectly happy and healthy life. I like the way she remembers so many fascinating things about her past lives and I was very intrigued by this one particular recollection she had of a time somewhere in Egypt, so far back that "the matter of this dimension hadn't fully formed yet." I look forward to any more books she presents to the world. Until then, I will be enjoying her online blog entries and myriad other goodies.

I have read some of Jennifer's posts on her blog and wanted to dive more into her story.

In this book she tells a bit more about how she came to discover her gift and snippets of her travels. Though I could have read a lot more about all of these.

More than her story, this book is, however, an overview, touching different aspects on how you can begin to walk the intuitive path. I have read quite some books on this subject and I would say these are not new ways foe me, but the way in which they are presented and her voice, these are very unique.

What I loved the most about this book were her insights on what it means to be an Oracle, her connection and knowledge about the ancient Oracles, details which I found nowhere else.

All in all, it was an enchanting read, very personal and very reflective of Jennifer's style. I, of course, read it because I love her presence and work, but I'm sure anyone who feels called to read this book would gain something.
