Ever since an unexplained encounter with a pack of wolves when she was younger, she'd felt drawn to the beautiful animal. When she discovered that shifters do exist and that they, too, mated for life, she had the perfect subject for her doctoral thesis. Caught in a snowstorm, Jason must use all his shifter strength to keep them both alive. While taking refuge in a small cabin, he must convince the disbelieving woman that fated mates do exist and that she now belongs to him--heart, body, and soul. What better way to convince her than to let her experience the sexual appetite of a wolf shifter when he finds his true mate?

This is now the 4th "book" I've ready by Marie Mason. So far, and maybe these are just for the holidays, her books all are really short stories with the same theme: hunky male shifters finds his mate in an overweight female, has amazing great sex with her amid a lot of writing errors (grammar, spelling, and occasional name switching). Marie is the queen of the bedroom scenes in my estimation, but she really needs a better editor/proof reader.
Here are some examples:
"The sound over the headphones made her winch."
"...went about losing her virginity the same why she approached everything in life."
"Yeah, the night was going to be hell, but it would also heaven."
“Almost forgot,” he said, snapping his figures."
“I, I.” She stammered, having no clue what to do or what to do.
"She focused on Jason, his face a taunt mask of power and control."
Here are some examples:

Snow storms hide a lot of things
Jason did not want to be out traveling in the snow. Let alone in the snow storm that was coming. But giving in to his sister's request to pick up her friend was the best thing to happen to him.
I did like the story but could have done without the errors. There were multiple spots that I had to go back and read to get the meaning.

Sensual, loving, cute
Bigger woman and Christmas two of my favorite reads in one. Another excellent short story in which love is a surprise, but its done tastefully. I love this author because its not the typical skinny, upstart female leads. Recommend for mature readers

This was very enjoyable, my only complaint is the same as my complaint for Mate of The Alpha, it was too short and could have been expanded on. I loved the couple but in this one the relationship moved a bit fast, at least in Mate Of The Alpha there was 6 months pre-history of building attraction and sexual tension, in this one there was about a day! I would have loved more time with them both and maybe to explore Jason's insecurities about his scars and how the rest of the pack view them as a sign of weakness.
Still the chemistry between them was strong and the sex scenes between them hot! I really liked them as a couple cause they could give each other a sense of acceptance in ways others couldn't, I just would have liked to explore more with them cause they were interesting and lovable characters.

Great Wolf Shifter Christmas Story
Loved Jason and Priscilla's Christmas story. It was not too short and not too long. The intense passion sizzled of the pages.
Jason had not intention of looking for his fated mate. He loved being a bachelor. A snow storm is coming and his sister has requested a favor. She wants him to pick up her girlfriend from the airport. Darn, he hates having to go out, but he rather go than have his sister be out in the bad weather. Once he gets a whiff of her scent....he is doomed because she is his fated mate. The wolf inside wants to claim her.

A perfect Christmas short
These two are so sweet together, I was just as angry as she was that he would feel bad about his scars. That it would be seen as a weakness when he took the rogue down, but not fast enough. How could a mate especially another shifter not see it the way she did? I'm so glad they have each other, so sweet.

Part of kindle unlimited. A short Christmas wolf shifter story. When her friend from college invites her to do a study on Wolf mating, she decides to spend Christmas with the pack. When she get snowed in with her friends hot wolf shifter brother.......she realizes what being a mate truly is. HEA

This was a good story which made me chuckle in spots and rout in others. While Jason was picking up his sisters friend from the airport in a blizzard he meets his mate. Pricilla and Jason end up stranded in a cabin during the storm. Will he convince her they are mates? Will Pricilla"s emotions override her analytical mind? This is a 5 star holiday book.

A nice really quick shifter read. Not much about the world the characters belong to but still enjoyed it. Who wouldn't enjoy getting stranded with a hot alpha wolf in the middle of a snow storm? However that is pretty much all there is to the story, so if you love you shifter books and want a quickie then this is for you : )

I liked this story. I liked the writing it was clean and precise. Also I liked the fact that the woman in this story is a plus sized nerd. I liked the male wolf shifter in this one too.
