The most amazing archaeological discovery of our time-- a sarcophagus from an ancient civilization that predates the Egyptian Pyramids by more than fifty thousand years--is being broadcast as a live public exhibit on national TV.
But in their haste to reveal a glimpse of what could be the origin of mankind, the scholars of the OBARI Foundation instead unleash an ancient plague upon the modern world.
This is the age-old story of the curious--and of those who must race to close the door on what should never have been opened . . .

Pandora: End of Days exceeded my expectations. First, this was free on Amazon which right of way set me on the defensive wondering what might be wrong. Second, it is a post apocalyptic zombie graphic novel, I am so done with all things in the zombie genre. Finally, it was black and grey which I thought would mean subpar artwork. Well, I am glad to say that I was wrong on all accounts. I didn't mind the zombie story. I enjoyed the overall plot line. And I loved the artwork.
The artwork was fantastic. That was pretty much what kept my enjoyment at its peak. This had a very big Resident Evil feel to it which, if you're like me, will increase your entertainment. There was just something missing to this that I couldn't really put my finger on. Maybe it was too short or not enough dialog (though you can't have much dialog during violent chaos...)? What ever it was, its keeping me from giving a 5-star rating.
I would be interested I continuing this if it doesn't get cancelled. I'm hoping the "generic" gets written away so I can come back to this gorgeous artwork and also find a good story. 😸
I've always love the Japanese art of manga, and this story was very capturing for the zombie terror theme, which is one of my favorites, so this was a very interesting manga/comic to read. Hope they keep doing this great job, can't wait for the second part!
This book was awesome! I've been waiting for a zombie apocalypse manga for a long time and I'm glad my wish came true :D But everything about this book is amazing! Easy read, gorgeous artwork, and a compelling story! I recommend this book to everyone! Even if this isn't usually your thing lol!
A schoolgirl holds knowledge that might save humanity from a zombie apocalypse.
Good black and white artwork. I got it as a freebie. Seems to be manga inspired. What dialogue there is, is in good english. The schoolgirl vs. Zombies would make an ok video game. The first five chapters only.
Apart from being a good read, the art style is also amazing. Great story and keeps the suspense throughout. Well worth reading for those who love zombies and survival horror stories..
The author has come up with a brilliant twist on zombie origin. Add in the fantasy-style artifacts and objects of power and you have all the making of a big hit.
This was okay, for a beginning. I'd give the art a 5, no questions asked. It's an incredibly detailed and well drawn comic, much more sleek than most; however, the plot is basic zombie fodder in the absence of a lot of character building. It's only different in that zombies are built from a centuries old virus (and direct infections from the virus, as opposed to a claw, or bite, can only be killed with centuries old weapon, in this case, a golden spear.)
Most of the surviving characters at the end of book 1 (roughly 5, maybe 6), aren't ever really developed to the point they should be. So it's a nice looking book, without a lot of depth. More of a "Fun read" to me than anything else.
This manga had it all! The suspense of a thriller and kept you wanting to read on to know what happens next. The gore of a typical horror captivated through the beautifully-drawn sketches. And the excitement; the fear factor; the adrenaline rush of the action genre! Definitely worth a read!
So... By the book description I expect something a bit different. The story line was meh, the art while decent wasn't great. I am giving this book 3 stars and that is being generous. And yet again because I am a completionist I will read this series through. I hope it gets better the further in I get. If you want to check out this book for yourself it's on Kindle unlimited.
I’m not the graphic comic type, but this had me all the way to the end. Absolutely fantastic, held me interest and i enjoyed the story. Now i have to find book 2 to finish this journey.
I was bored and wanted to find a horror comic, which is how I came across this comic. I loved the original story. This comic has it. I definitely will recommend it to readers that are fans of zombie-like theme comics.
Little did I know this took place in NJ. Leave it to Jersey to start the zombie apocalypse haha. I feel like the Governor in this reminds me of someone….I just can’t figure out who 🤔🤣. I am excited to see what happens. Who knew I’d be into manga/graphic novels.
It was a great magna.I recommend, hoping I can get the rest of the series downloaded as well. Don't know why there is a number of words I have to reach within a review??
It's a different take on zombies and I loved it. it's not some sort of disease or bio warfare. Its bit a cliche and I would recommend this to anyone who likes zombies!
Gorgeous artwork and a pretty cool story line. A plague/ancient creature is let loose by an arrogant, greedy asshole. A bit of The Mummy, Blade 2 & World War Z all rolled up together.
