A somewhat interesting slant on medieval sculpture though the emphasis is more on ecclesiastical than secular. However, many of the illustrations were difficult to interpret, probably more to do with the remote locations of these sculptures than not, but if unavoidable a pen and ink rendering placed next to these photos would have been very helpful. Also, a glossary of cathedral architectural terminology would have been handy.
