Area 51

Rate this book
Brad Walsh lives a privileged, but unfulfilled life as a corporate executive. When his estranged childhood friend Bobby lands on Mars, Brad starts to reflect on his missed ambitions. His refusal to follow the historic mission leads his wife - once Bobby's high school sweetheart - to question his rancor towards life. After the astronauts fail to return to Earth, Brad is surprisingly offered an unexpected opportunity to discover the mission's fate through a mysterious woman working for the FBI.

In the meantime, the Chinese are about to launch their first moon mission and a young Chen is among the final five taiknonauts competing for the honor. Little does he know that there are two missions - the official one that the world is excitedly awaiting and an undisclosed one predicted by a four century year old document compiled during the Han dynasty.

Brad doesn't know it, but he is about to find out that aliens did crash at Roswell. He once had the chance to save the Earth. He failed. He wants to give himself a second chance. All he has to do is prevent his encounter with the President of the United States of America and make sure that Area 51 never existed in the first place.

I am a science fiction writer who is very loyal to the essence of the genre - ideas and concepts come first. I like to spin a good solid story that makes my readers reflect on our world and incorporates themes of politics, society and relationships. My books focus on apocalyptic scenarios, time travel, and alien intervention. My interests are space and time, artificial intelligence, and human evolution.

Not sure why this was broken into 9 different books, each book as a single chapter would probably make more sense, but in any case, it's a decent start to a series, though I'm not sure yet if I'll continue it or not, it does have some interesting alternate history teasers, might be interesting to see where they lead.
